Our Users have found that Dynamic Related Lists on Mobile don't have the "Load More" option since the Winter '26 Release. So if a record has more than about 10 related records in a related list, Users have no way to access all of the records. If anyone else is experiencing this, please report thorugh this Known Issue - https://help.salesforce.com/s/issue?id=a02Ka00000lIUeN&t=1763565464388

There is a documented behavior, that date fields in related lists do not render a leading "0" (zero) in certain locales. For example a German date 01.11.2025 (dd.mm.yyyy) is rendered as "01.11.2025" in the detail pane of a record, but "1.11.2025" within a related list.

A bug notice was commented with "working as expected" in 2022 (W-12218758):

On our FSC developer org, which installed the preview "Winter '26" we noticed that this behavior seems to have changed. That would be really great if this was an official feature of the coming release. But I didn't find any hint in the release notes.

Maybe you'd give it a try if you're affected. I'd also be interested to know if there's any official confirmation on this.

I'd like to remove "Type" from the selected field list in the campaign member related list on campaigns. Trying to do so pops an alert:

Error: Type can't be removed and must be the first field in the related list. To remove, set another field as the Name field and the first field in the related list.

Could you point me to further information on this? How do I set a field as a name field, and what should I be aware of in doing so?

Thanks in advance!

Within opportunities, I have a lookup relationship referring to Accounts. This is not the 'primary' account. We are an intermediary business so this account is the provider we referred our client to.

I want to be able to report on when the last time we used a specific provider was, primarily so I can prompt due diligence checks to be undertaken if we return to a provider after a specific period of time e.g. 3 years.

The potential solutions I have considered:

  1. create a custom field on the account e.g. last transaction then use a scheduled Flow to identify the date of the last transaction with the provider and populate that field. The flow would need to list opportunities for a given provider than find latest date, I guess, which I think is feasible.
  2. create a related item list on the Account record & ask users to manually check it before placing business with a provider. Can I report in the detail in the related item list and user it to populate a custom field to avoid need for manual check?

This seems too clunky/onerous and I am thinking there must be a better way to do this.

Is there a way to pull over the Title in this View? This is a related list within a Client (Account) object. It is a Lookup Field Related to Contacts

Okay, cuz this is a custom Junction Object, I would just create a Formula(Text) field on the Junction Object like this

    Rep_Name__r.Title

That will display the Rep's Title on the Junction Object and you can add the Formula(Text) field to the Related List on the Account page layout

How can I make fields in a related list display horizontally instead of vertically without changing the format of the record page (including the size of the section)?

I don't think you can out of the box. I think it's determined by page column/section width.

You should be able to with this app

Issue: When I want to create a new contact in an account related list button (or from the Contacts List). I only see the fields (including required ones like Name and email) if I pick one or the Contact Record Types. Otherwise, those fields are not shown (as a consequence I can't save them).

Why the 'New' button of a related list shows fields depending on the record type and how to change it?

Question: Where can I change the Assignment/visibility/page layout for this, so I have at least the required fields at creation time?

Things I have checked

  1. I am the Admin, so I do not have field permissions issues. I can see the fields of the Contacts (so it's not a Contact field visibility issue).
  2. The buttons on the related list Properties look like thisAcct_Related_List_Button.png
  3. There are no overrides for the New Contact Button on the Contact objectNew_Contact_button.png
  4. This is how the layout for the Global Action for New Contact Looks likeNew_Contact_Global_Action.png

The Fields displayed in the New Contact (button) are determined by the Contact Record Type / Page Layout Assignment settings on the Contact Object.

(Global) Quick-Actions are independent of Record Type / Page Layout Assignments.  They don't override the standard "New Contact" button, they are "their own thing"

We have a Contact Roles Related List on a page layout, showing the First Name, Last Name, Contact Role, and the Line of Business. For some reason, the "First Name:" label isn't showing before the contact first name. I checked the related list on the page layout editor, and everything seems fine there. I'm not sure where else to check or how to fix it. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

On the Lead object, we have a related list called Products. We are going to put in a Flow or something that will grab the related records and put them into a field on the Lead object. That will make Product data available for display in global search.

Here's the question. If a Lead has more than one Product, in the global search results is there a way for us to display the first product followed by three dots, like 'Product A...' This would indicate to the user that there are multiple products associated with this Lead, but we wouldn't be using up so much real estate on the global search layout.

@Nate Goodman I think you would like to see output this way I think you would like to see output this way Here is what you can do I am assuming your field for holding the products is 'Related_Products__c' Creae a new field call it Products, formula (text),HYPEScreen Shot 2023-11-03 at 6.57.58 PM.png

Here is what you can do

I am assuming your field for holding the products is 'Related_Products__c'

Creae a new field call it Products, formula (text),HYPERLINK("https://salesforce.com", LEFT(Related_Products__c,20) & '...', "_self")

Now go to Search layout on Lead object and see profile and layout assignment and adjust the field to be displayed 'Products'.

    That's it.

That Report Type says "Opportunities with VAS", not "Opportunities with Products"

Also, you did not post a screenshot of your Filter Criteria
