#Pardot Salesforce Sync0 discussing

Hi,

Our Sales Cloud is connected to Account Engagement (Pardot). Within the Sales Cloud, we have campaigns with different statuses. When creating a new campaign, one of the default statuses is "connected". However, as an admin, I do not want other users to choose this status. Therefore, I removed it. Unfortunately, it appeared again after some time, even after renaming it. How can I remove the "connected" status permanently?

when you take a look at the results from the query endpoint here:

https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/marketing/pardot/guide/visitor-activity-v5.html#visitor-activity-query

you get something like:

        { "id": 100000, "campaignId": 28213, "createdAt": "2021-05-14T07:08:47-07:00", "prospectId": 1866479, "type": 20, "typeName": "Visit", "updatedAt": "2021-11-16T12:40:26-08:00", "visitId": 37195939, "visitorId": 18587955 },

does anyone know what `updatedAt` means?  is it suggested to not pull data from this endpoint incrementally?

Meaning if i pull this data today, is it possible for the same visit to change tomorrow and require me to have to replace today's data?

Visitor activities are a running history of actions taken by the person with each action appearing as a separate record as an "activity". Prior activities/visits do not ever change. UpdatedAt is simply a timestamp for when the action occurred. The filters are there so you can query activities that occur within certain timeframes.

Hello,

Apparently there is a button that can be added on the Lead and Contacts tabs in Salesforce called "Add to Pardot List." When I check the available buttons in the Mobile and Lightning Actions section, it isn't there.  I can't find it in any other sections on either the Leads or Contacts pages.

We have Enterprise Edition of Salesforce and use Pardot. Is there a reason that button isn't available?  Anything I need to check or set?

Thanks.

Hey Everyone! Do I understand correctly that enabling  "Sync emails with the CRM"   on the Email Logging Settings in Connector will sync ALL Emails (including Engage Emails ) when "Sync Engage emails with the CRM" will only sync Engage Emails?  Help to understand this setting #Pardot Salesforce Sync #Pardot Email #Pardot #AccountEngagement

The Sync emails with CRM setting is often regretted as anything sent as an AE email shows up in the same feed as any other action, task or correspondence. So some people really don't care for it.  It also takes up org storage, which for some companies can be an issue. On an org without Engage, the sync engage emails setting is missing, and they are independent checkboxes. So I'd expect that the two settings are independent of each other and do different things.

Hi! I'm hoping to implement a process that allows us to track our SQL/MQL conversion rate via leads or maybe contacts. At the moment, we use Account Engagement (Pardot) to track all of our prospects (MQLs). They are not currently tracked in Salesforce as contacts or leads. Our SQL has contacts/accounts currently. Skipped the lead step.

We want to start fresh with our data points 2024. I need help thinking through the best way to implement this utilizing Pardot and Leads.

This is a temporary process for conversion:

  • Prospect in Pardot hits a certain grade/score and will be assigned a user; therefore lead is created.
  • The sales team will be assigned a lead and will nurture prospects.

Things I've considered:

  1. Create a Status field on the lead with values MQL, SQL, SAL(Converted), and turn on field history tracking. And sync all Pardot prospects over to Salesforce.
  2. Then, the Sales team will change the status and convert the lead or automation to change the status upon conversion

Thanks in advance for any solutions here.

    I like your idea.

    Keep it simple.

MQL = Create Lead from Pardot Prospect (Marketing can modulate the rules, score thresholds, etc so it is all in their hands)

SQL = Lead reviewed, ideally contacted, and qualified or disqualified.

I would personally call a SQL when the Lead is Converted (Qualified=Converted another way to be said)

I have enable person account in Account Engagement and map the custom fields.

But I am not getting data into prospect. I can see data in contact tab under prospects on account engagement.

How can I get the data in prospects? Any help!

Hello All, Invalid Assigned User, Queue or other related obje: invalid cross reference id  I am trying to fix this Pardot sync error. The assigned used for the prospect is active and has the proper license. Not sure what I'm missing. Appreciate your help. Thanks. #Pardot Salesforce Sync #AwesomeAdmins #Sales Cloud

For a few months our SFDC administrator had flipped off the Pardot/SFDC to triage some issues, and during that time, some SFDC records were created that do not exist on Pardot, so we are unable to get scores and grades for these leads.

I've just collected all leads in Salesforce that need to be created in Pardot. I would like to use the LeadID to upload the record to Pardot with minimal field mapping. However, I believe all currently mapped custom fields in Pardot are set to sync the records according to the most recent data.

If I create these records, only mapping the lead ID on the Pardot Prospect Import, will it wipe out all of the data in SFDC? Thanks in advance for the help!

    Hello,

I think the approach you are proposing here, whereby you are matching Prospects to their Lead or Contact ID is the right one.

In terms of the data potentially being lost this is something I'd suggest proceeding with carefully.

I've not had experience of this scenerio before however I'd suggest trying this out with one prospect first being updating the rest.

This way you can check if the next sync causes issues with data being updated etc.

Prior to this I'd suggest taking a full backup of the Salesforce Record just in case.

I know from the Pardot Connector itself you can actually set what field wins when there is a sync conflict so for those syncing to Salesforce is suggest checking this also.

    Thanks Tom

We created a new field in Pardot and Salesforce called 'Title Level'. It is a Prospect record in Pardot - and the same field exists as both a Contact and Lead field in Salesforce.com. Logic on the Pardot side says to use whichever is most recently updated. The API names are the same in both the contact and lead modules - however, only the Contact record type is able to sync. When title level is changed on a Lead record - initiated from Pardot or from SFDC - the connected field does not update from CRM to MA or vice versa. We have several other fields set up similarly (single Prospect field, mapped to same name contact and lead data fields) and have not had any issue. Is there something I could be overlooking?

Hi,

I have imported a list of prospects to Pardot and while some are properly syncing with Salesforce, some are not, and this is due to the Pardot prospect not having a user assignment. When looking at the import list, I have all rows of prospects with a user assignment (using an email), but it does not seem to be assigning. Looking at a few of the prospect records, I see a "mark as reviewed" option. Wondering what could be preventing the pardot import from happening? Thanks in advance!

I spot checked 10 prospects that aren't properly being assigned, they're new records
