#Hyperforce0 discussing

Hi all -

Our team is supporting mission critical public health call centers that operate 365/24/7. In the latest Salesforce major release on Hyperforce instances for us folks at one call centers here shared that they were kicked out and forced to re-login during the upgrade period. This goes against what we have come to understand about Hyperforce for clients that need to have the zero downtime during maintenance windows.

I figured I'd take to community approach vs support ticket to see what answers I'd get here.

From Hyperforce information online we see:

Introducing Hyperforce - General Information & FAQ

  • Agility  – Hyperforce increases agility with no downtime for releases and general maintenance, faster dev and test environments, and enormous new interoperability with AWS. (Downtime may be required during org migrations or for major technology upgrades.)

If the org upgrade on Trust says your org will "generally be available" during the maintenance window, why would users have been kicked out? As a Salesforce partner this leaves us scratching our heads as to why the communication is not very clear. The support agent shared this link: Get Core Major Releases with No Downtime

it seems to state you will get kicked out during the upgrade. I would not call this no downtime and is sort of false advertising if our clients read this.

How is a user base supposed to know this is coming and when it will happen?

Trying to understand what the best practices are here and what others do in this situation.

What does SF say?

Any help on this or guidance would be appreciated!

🙋🏽Building Data Graphs for Agents: Salesforce Developers Ask Me Anything December 2024

Data Graphs ensure that agents can access information in Data Cloud more efficiently by combining and transforming data from different tables into new, ready-to-use views.

Data Graphs accelerate data lookups from all the data available in different datasets, ensuring swift retrieval of customer information for real-time decision-making. Since the data is precomputed, queries run faster for agents to use, and they can be reused without rerunning the original queries. And who doesn't want a faster agent?

I know there is a CRMA pre-built dashboard, but looking for something more customizable.

Resurfacing this to see if it was possible with the our org's recent migration from AWS to Hyperforce, since that seemed to be the roadblock before. Until now (I think?) Activities are Syncd which means they are stored in Salesforce as normal activity records. But email is only Captured from G-Suite or Outlook and stored in AWS, not in Salesforce.

Overall just looking to see if anyone has noticed a change in activity reportability with the hyperforce migration.

Thanks,

Hi Molly,  if you are trying to report on your automatically captured emails from EAC, there was a feature released for this use case earlier in October. Assuming you have either Professional or Enterprise edition, you need to toggle on the 'Activity 360 Reporting' in Setup-->Einstein Activity Capture-->settings

After doing this, you should see some dashboards/reports that were created in the 'Activity 360 '  folder, which show all the activities.

I would love to hear stories of preparing and migrating to Hyperforce.   Did you have any gotchas or lessons learned?    I am preparing for our org to migrate and also lead the Orlando Architect Community Group.   You can join the session virtually and share any insights next week.

🙋🙋How do I know whether my instance is migrated into Hyperforce?

Hyperforce is the next-generation Salesforce infrastructure architecture, built for the public cloud. Hyperforce infrastructure is composed of code rather than hardware, so that the Salesforce platform and applications can be delivered rapidly and reliably to locations worldwide, giving customers more choice and control over data residency. Salesforce products running on Hyperforce benefit from its integration of enhanced standards for compliance, security, agility, and scalability, and from Salesforce’s continued commitment to privacy. By providing a common foundation for deploying our application stacks, Hyperforce accelerates Salesforce’s ability to innovate across product clouds and deliver additional business value to customers.

❓❓ Now with this migration happening, the question is how do I know whether my org has migrated into Hyperforce or not?

In this post, I am going to show you how you can quickly find out the answer.
