Related Object Fields in List Views?

Would be a great feature if related object fields could be surfaced in List Views without the need for duplicating as formula fields. Could this be considered for a future List View enhancement?

    Hi @Stuart Gare - great suggestion! This is on our radar but not on our roadmap for this year. We're focused on modernizing list views on Lightning Web Components and then delivering on the top 3 idea exchange items: default sort, multi column sort, and inline edit for list views.

     

    We will take this into consideration for the future and I agree with Nisar to upvote the idea exchange post for cross object fields!

Issue sharing list in Customize a List View of List View: Quick Check

I have created the opportunity list, and shared it to a public group for Channel Sales Team, including roles and roles & their subordinates, but I still receive an error attempting to verify the challenge in my playground:

 

The list view 'Large and High Prob Open Opps' is not shared with the Channel Sales Team.

But I believe I've created the proper group & shared the list with them:Issue sharing list in Customize a List View of List View: Quick Check

    I see what I did wrong-- my selection on the sharing menu was set to Public Groups, rather than Roles / Roles and Subordinates.

    Swapping the sharing settings resolved the error message. Thank you

Help Please!!!

 

Hello Everyone,

 

I am stuck on a challenge under Lightning Experience Customization Create and Customize List Views 

I keep getting the error message " The 'High Probability Opportunities' list view does not appear to be configured correctly. It should show only opportunities whose stage is 'Proposal/Price Quote' or 'Negotiation/Review', and whose probability is greater than or equal to 50%." when I check challege.

 

I have followed the instructions multiple times, deleted, revised, started over, nothing is working.   Please tell me if you see something missing I am not seeing.

    Went back in to filter again. Even though the instructions said to choose one value under stage, I decided to try adding both values....problem finally solved!!! Thanks everyone for your input much appreciated!

Does anyone know how I can prevent users from creating new list views? I see under user permissions there is a check box for "Create and Customize List Views" which I presume is what I need to change, but the box is greyed out. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.
