If you have Education Cloud, did you know that you can't merge Person Accounts if they both have a Contact Profile? It will error out. It's a known issue, so if this affects you please add yourself to the doc so Salesforce can be made aware and prioritize fixing it. Thanks!
I have one formula field text type on a case object for some condition. I want to show one icon and 'unclaimed' text with it.
The condition is that if the case origin is a phone, then in the formula field I want to show this icon (below screenshot) and text unclaimed with it, but I'm not able to do that as this icon is not loaded.
I can put other icons, but for this particular icon, I'm facing one issue.
Can someone please help me with this?

i believe formula fields are limited in their ability to display images from external URLs or specific icons from the Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS). They can only display images that are stored as documents or static resources within your Salesforce org.
The batch class runs in the context of the user who scheduled it.
Now, in the global query of the batch, it's fetching 5000 user records one by one. In the execute method, I want to run 9 queries on different object in the context of the same user who is being fetched one by one from the global query. Or, I want those 9 queries to fetch only records that are accessible(read access) to that user, like the record the user has in the current execute method."

5000 emails with 90 records in there, sounds like a bad idea.
If we would have a bit more details we might be able to help more efficiently.
My initial idea here was , why not create a Dashboard out of 9 reports ( the objects)
and put that dashboard on the home page for each user? so they see it on Monday morning as soon they login.
In the entitlement standard object of Salesforce, there is one standard field that is lookup to the service agreement line item. Now why am I not able to see this field name when I try to add a column of this field to the related list of entitlements in the service agreement standard object?

I just want to see field in entitlement object related list view that I put in service contract object
I'm curious what other schools so regarding creating Decision Letters from within Salesforce. Did you build something custom? Leveraging a vendor solution, and if so which one?
Currently we are looking at Conga and Nintex as possible solutions.

I think it also depends a bit on what platform you have built your system on. What I mean is that if you are using Education Cloud licenses or planning on moving to an Education Cloud org you will have options available directly on the platform. This cannot be accomplished through any simple configuration. You would have to develop custom code that overwrites the standard UI for the whole app.
Another question... does anyone have any plans or Use Cases for Chat GPT at their schools? Curious what other folks are thinking about it in this space.
There are a lot of people pushing ideas and use cases on LinkedIn. I have been playing around with it a little but not a realistic way for it to be applied right now. Maybe @Kathleen Lueckeman has heard of someone thinking of ideas?
As we weigh the pros/cons, it occurs to me that we don't have an external backup/recovery system in place for all our other SaaS applications, like ServiceNow, Sharepoint, Office 365... not that everything's the same, but it made me pause.
For those who purchased external backup/recovery solutions, how did you decide that the business benefit outweighed the cost, especially as compared to perhaps not investing in external recovery options for other SaaS applications?

Ours was only a Salesforce decision with Ownbackup being the clear option. It is a policy that you have to backup your enterprise systems. Not sure how the other systems here do it.
