Field Service Starter Kit is a Salesforce Labs managed package containing Flow Templates that you can enable and use out of the box or clone and customize to tailor fit to your company’s specific use case. We plan to upgrade the package periodically with additional features and your input is important - join this group to engage with the team members and other customers like you and let us know what you would like to see in future versions. Salesforce Labs solutions like the Salesforce Field Service Starter Kit app are not official salesforce products and as such do not have salesforce official support. However, our team is committed to fix issues and answer any question you may have.

Hello,

I'm trying the starter kit and it would be useful if the permission sets assigned by "Field Service users automation" could be extended (e.g. adding custom permission set).

Any hint or suggestion about it?

    Hey @Yaron Dror Good day! I am looking for the improvement of the Field Service User Automation to permissions groups and the ability to customize the permissions inside it but I can not find any material or a way to do that in my org. Can you please help me?

In Field Service Mobile Settings, there is a section called 'Quick Status Change' - I have added the Flow from the Field Service Starter Kit: FSSK Field Service Mobile Status Transition to the 'Flow Name' field: Field_Service_Mobile_Status_Transition  But I cannot see where to access this Flow in the Field Service Mobile app - how do i access it please?

    Is it not due to this Known Issue:

     

     Flow in Managed Package is failing with an error in the Field Service Mobile app

     

    An error occurs when trying to run a Field Service Mobile Flow on the Field Service mobile app when the flow is installed through a managed package. Error example: "unable to parse data for /services/data/v50.0/support/fieldservice/Flow?developerNames={developernamepace_FlowName"

     

    The same flow will run successfully if unmanaged.

    The same flow may run successfully on desktop or the Salesforce Mobile app.

    Workaround - There isn't a workaround for this issue yet.

Hi All and Happy Holidays!

 

I'm using the flow  FSSK Field Service Mobile Status Transition (a copy made from this template) but at the very start of the flow it obtains the custom settings values (from FSL Starter Kit custom settings) and then has a decision node based on the checkbox value for the custom setting 'Mobile Status Satiation' (currently unchecked/FALSE) and if this value is false, then the flow ends. I have gone to this custom setting, but i cannot amend it in any way as its part of the managed package?

 

I'm obviously going about this in the wrong way, can, anyone help please?

Can we show below with the help of custom attributes :

 

1) Limiting the manual consumption list to only items that have stock availability (Limited to qty of PI present)

2) Can we return also the quantity returned to the query to see how many products Tech could consume?

3) Can we limit list view of product list to list ONLY the parts that are INTEGRATED (to exclude "price book only" items)

    Unfortunately I think your best & maybe only option here would be an FSL screen flow that has a filtered record choice set on it for product selection which then creates the product consumption record based on selection. You could include an error screen & send them back to the input screen if their quantity choice exceeds what's available

I am getting record does not exist error in field service app.

Could anyone explain how to fix it.

we have a requirement where most of field engineer will be working in hazardous locations with poor connectivity. Please suggest which mobile app will opt this requirement  FSL app VS Youreka Vs Pulsar
