One Week Away: Public Sector Accredited Professional → Salesforce Certification

In one week, effective October 27, 2026, the Salesforce Accredited Agentforce 360 for Public Sector Professional credential will transition to a Salesforce Certification. It will be known as the Salesforce Certified Public Sector Solutions Consultant.

This move aligns the credential with Salesforce's globally recognized certification standards, reflecting the rigor and value of what you've already earned.

What this means for you:

  • If you're already credentialed: You'll be automatically migrated. No retesting is needed, and your original earn date is preserved. You'll complete your first maintenance during the Winter '27 cycle, opening this December.

Start with the official Tableau Desktop Specialist exam guide, then build dashboards hands-on in Tableau Public or Desktop. Searching each exam topic in Trailhead also helps. QA4Exam

Hi Trailblazers,

As part of the broader transition to the reimagined Trailblazer Community in Slack, the online Trailblazer Community website will move to read-only status on October 30, 2026.

What this means for this group:

This group will become read-only on October 30. Members will no longer be able to create new posts or reply to existing threads.

Some groups will not transition to the new Trailblazer Community in Slack. Existing content will remain available for reference as an archive.

The broader Trailblazer Community will continue in Slack. When the new Trailblazer Community in Slack launches in November, members will be able to join the broader community and participate in new conversations there.

Please review the

FAQ

for more details about the transition and what to expect next.

Thank you for being part of this group and for everything you’ve contributed to the Trailblazer Community.

Heads Up: Public Sector Accredited Professional Is Becoming a Salesforce Certification

Starting October 27, 2026, the Salesforce Accredited Agentforce 360 for Public Sector Professional credential will officially transition to a Salesforce Certification — becoming the Salesforce Certified Public Sector Solutions Consultant. Also, exam pricing will change (effective October 27): USD 150 (retakes USD 150) → USD 200 (retakes USD 100).

This move aligns the credential with Salesforce's globally recognized certification standards, reflecting the rigor and value of what you've already earned or are working toward.

What this means for you:

  • If you're already credentialed: You'll be automatically migrated on October 27 — no retesting needed, and your original earn date will be preserved. You'll be classified as "at-risk annual" and will complete your first maintenance during the Winter '27 cycle, opening this December.
  • If you're registered for the AP exam: Your registration will be canceled as of October 27. Please plan to re-register for the new Salesforce Certification exam (USD 200, retakes USD 100).
  • If you recently attempted the exam: New exam guides and study materials will apply going forward — review these before re-registering.

We know change can raise questions, so we've put together resources to help you prepare:

Free Exam Retake Promotion is Here!

We're excited to share that the Salesforce Certification team has teamed up with Pearson to bring you a free exam retake promotion.

How it works:

  • Schedule, purchase, and complete your certification exam between September 29 – November 17, 2026
  • If you don't pass on your first attempt, you may be eligible for one free retake between January 4 – April 7, 2027.* This offer is strictly limited to one free retake per candidate; if a candidate does not pass on their second attempt, they are not eligible for additional free retakes. Note: Free retakes absolutely cannot be scheduled or taken before January 4, 2027.

This is a great opportunity to go for that cert you've been eyeing, knowing you've got a safety net if it doesn't go your way the first time.

Check out the full details, eligibility requirements, and how to opt in here: Salesforce Certification Exam Retake Promotion (2026/2027).

Good luck, and happy studying!

*This offer excludes the Salesforce Certified Technical Architect certification and Accredited Professional exams. Terms and conditions apply. Foundations exams already offer free retakes by default and are excluded from this promotion.

Hi @Eric Kreil, Thanks for checking before moving ahead! Our team wouldn't recommend this approach.

The free retake is tied directly to the first exam attempt: if you fail that first attempt, the next attempt of the same exam is free. If you instead take a different exam attempt in between, you'd forfeit that free retake, and the system likely wouldn't be able to process the attempts in that order — it could return an error.

On top of that, if you pass the paid attempt taken in between, the promotional retake couldn't then be applied to a different exam.

The one upside is that the retake window doesn't start until January 4th, which does give you some extra time to study in case you don't pass the first attempt.

I have completed this flow exactly as per the requirements of this challenge. I checked all the conditions, names of the variable and tried all possible solutions. But this challenge is not getting completed. Please guide and help how to proceed?

    Hi Deepayan,

The flow structure itself looks reasonable, but "Whoops, looks like there was a problem" is Trailhead's generic checker failure — it doesn't tell you which specific requirement is unmet, so the fastest way to actually find the mismatch is the Debug tool you already have open, not guessing from the builder.

Use Debug directly (you're already on this screen):

    1. Set "Run the Flow As If the Record Is: Created" (since this flow is meant to fire on new Engagements)

    2. Search for and select a real Engagement__c record in the Engagement_c field that has Potential Donation = True

    3. Click Run, then step through each element in the debug trace — it'll show you exactly what value each field resolved to at the Create Opportunity step, and whether the Opportunity actually got created with the right values

A few specific things worth double-checking against the exact wording in the unit instructions, since these are the most common reasons this exact flow type fails silently:

    1. Trigger type — your flow triggers on "A record is created or updated." If the instructions specifically say the Opportunity should only be created once, when the Engagement is first created (not on every subsequent update), having "or updated" active could cause duplicate Opportunity creation, which can fail the checker even if the create logic itself is correct. Re-check whether the unit wants Created only.

    2. Stage value — "Prospecting" needs to match the exact picklist API value/label required by the instructions, character-for-character. If the unit specifies a different starting stage, this silently creates a technically-valid Opportunity that just doesn't match what's being checked.

    3. Record Type ID — this is pulled from your "Get Record type" Get Records element. Open that element and confirm the filter criteria is pulling the exact Record Type the instructions specify (by DeveloperName, not just Label — labels can look right but not match the underlying API name the checker verifies against).

    4. Entry condition scope — Potential Donation = True as the only condition is fine if that matches the instructions exactly, but if there's a second required condition (e.g., a specific Engagement Type or Status) that's missing, the flow would still "work" for your test case but fail the checker's own test record, which may have different field values than what you're testing locally.

Run the Debug trace against a record matching the checker's likely test scenario, and check field-by-field which value doesn't match what's expected — that'll pinpoint it faster than re-reading the builder config.
