Adding more power to your Flows!

I created a Custom Label Name: SaveAndContinue, Value: Save and Continue

I am attempting to use {!$Label.SaveAndContinue} as the custom label for Next or Finish.  Upon saving, I get this warning

"The Next or Finish label contains one or more merge fields, which aren't supported."

In the case where a flow has 40 screens and "Next" is the value entered for the button and your boss wants it to say "Forward", it would be so much more convenient to change ONE Custom Label than changing FORTY Nexts to Forward.

I totally agree with Michael. Additional downside of the solution using Translation Workbench is, that you have to modify/deploy Translations for those buttons with every new flow version.

It does not stick to the flow but to the version.

So even without changing the Screens you'll have to make sure to adjust the translations after a change - that is prone to errors.

In your sandbox, save the flow as the latest version (eg 57 for Spring '23). Then deploy to the production environment.

I have a couple of data tables in a screen flow that work very well, the only problem is the data alignment leaves a bit to be desired.      For example Live Service Release column aligns to the right, it would look better if it were to align to the center, in fact I would rather other columns would align center as well.  I've not found a way to accomplish that.

How do I align screen flow data table columns.

My version of the Datatable does allow you to assign Left, Right or Center alignment for each column in the datatable.

As a Flow Builder,

I want: A visual diff tool with a detailed change list to compare and review Flow versions,

So that: I can quickly and accurately identify and review changes between versions, ensuring that updates are intentional and correctly implemented.

It has been a while since I have done one of these sessions. Watch this video to get a much better understanding of various flow types. During the session, I answered many community questions as well; the answers may help you.

Here is an introductory teaching session on various flow types from the Gainesville Trailblazer User Group meeting yesterday.

Within a Trailhead Playground once I connected Salesforce to Slack I get two additional actions that are not included within the Salesforce Help Documentation.

Does anyone know the purpose of these actions?

Join a Slack Channel

This seems very similar if not the same to Invite Users to Slack Channel when running the action in Flow it doesn't appear to actually do anything although it runs successfully

Check If User is in Slack Workspace

I'm assuming this is for Enterprise Grid Customers that have multiple Slack Workspaces? However as the docs for this appear to be missing I'm not 100% sure if my assumption is correct here.

Will also cross-post this on the Slack Community too as this question overlaps both Salesforce Flow and Slack

@Tom Bassett just for future reference:

    - using 'Join a Slack Channel' action you (user running the flow) are joining a specific channel and with 'Invite Users to Slack Channel' you are inviting other/different SF Users to a specific channel - you can join only public channels with 'Join' and with 'Invite' you can invite other users to any channel you are member of (public and private) - assuming you have the permission to do it.

    - 'Check If User is in Slack Workspace' as I remember you should be able if a User from SF org is also a member of the connected Slack workspace - it's not only related to Enterprise Grid plan.
