Are there any trailhead recommendations that I can take for Einstein Activity Capture.

I am looking to get this turned on for our firm.

 We use Outlook.

Thank you,

Hello.

We have turned on Account Plans in our Sandbox environment. For the Relationship Map we would like to somehow show a parallel org chart. For example. The CEO of Google and the CEO of our company Syska Hennessy Group. Is this possible?

It seems that the native Salesforce Account plans is limited regarding customization.

Please let me know if further information is needed.

Is there another account plans tool that is recommended that offers more flexibility to make customizations?

Thank you,

Nancy

    Hello @Nancy Magalhaes

all components I know focus on displaying the concerned account org hierarchy. I am not aware of any component displaying both in the same page. Maybe you would need a custom lightning page and 2 components (one for the current record organization), one displaying your company organization, but in this case how to link both trees, or make one scroll if I scroll in the other one... I think that the solution  would be to enrich contact records with proper contact owner (or another user lookup field) to display on your component. That works on 1..1 case ; for 1..N links that will not be enough...

Hello Trailblazers! 👋

My name is Enrique. I’ve been working at my company for 8 years as a Salesforce Admin—a role I’ve held since I joined.

While many teams across the company use Sales Cloud daily, and engineers in our Data Team build pipeline automations (via REST API) or analytics (Tableau), I am the sole person responsible for the platform itself, its architecture, and its administration.

While my official job title remains Salesforce Admin, my leadership and I agree that my actual responsibilities have long outgrown traditional administration. I’d love your objective take on where my profile sits in the market based on my day-to-day work:

  • End-to-End Architecture & Data Modeling: Fully design and manage the data model (custom objects, complex relationships), security framework (roles, profiles, permission sets), and platform governance for Sales Cloud (~37 users and growing).

  • ERP Integrations & Technical Leadership: Conceptualized and designed the data flow architecture between Salesforce and ERPs (NetSuite, FinancialForce/Certinia, Sage). I led the implementation project alongside 2 software engineers, building all the Salesforce-side components (Objects, Flows, Apex, LWC).

  • Business Analysis & Business Impact: Direct partner to cross-functional stakeholders (Finance, Data, Product). I translate business needs into technical solutions, eliminating manual operations and measurably improving key company operational metrics.

  • Complex Data Migrations: Led and executed full data and org migrations from external systems (SugarCRM) and handled org-to-org consolidations following company acquisitions.

  • Data Quality, Security & Governance: Fully manage AppExchange tools like Cloudingo (data cleansing/deduplication) and Cloudally (backups/disaster recovery). Currently technical lead for implementing data privacy/compliance (GDPR) frameworks on the platform.

  • ALM & Delivery: Manage environment strategy using a Full Sandbox for testing and deployment via Outbound Change Sets.

  • Declarative + Programmatic Balance: 80% advanced declarative solutions (Flows) + 20% programmatic development (Apex / LWC).

We are currently reviewing my job title.

Based on this scope, how would you classify my role and job title in today’s Salesforce market?

Thank you so much for your feedback! ☁️❤️ 🚀

    Hi Enrique,

Congrats on getting to this point — this is a great problem to have. Based on the scope you laid out, "Salesforce Admin" hasn't matched your actual responsibilities for a while.

Here's how it maps to Salesforce's own architect track:

    - Data model, security framework, platform governance → this is core Application Architect territory (Trailhead: "Certified Application Architects have a deep understanding of native Salesforce features and functionality, and are also experts at modeling a role hierarchy, data, and appropriate sharing mechanisms").

    - ERP integrations (NetSuite, Certinia, Sage), technical leadership over engineers, environment/release strategy → this is squarely Certified System Architect scope ("System Architects focus on off-platform systems, integration, and securing access between systems, and are also skilled at managing governance and testing capabilities for deployment").

    - Doing both well, plus leading a technical team and owning the org end-to-end, is exactly the profile Salesforce positions as the path toward Solution/Technical Architect — someone who owns high-level and low-level design, integration patterns, and stakeholder communication, not just configuration.

So in market terms, your title should realistically be something like:

    - Salesforce Solution Architect, or

    - Salesforce Technical Lead / Platform Architect, or

    - Salesforce Application & Integration Architect

if your company wants to stay title-conservative.

"Salesforce Admin" undersells you badly at 8 years in with this scope — that title in the market usually implies user/permission management and clicks-not-code, not architecture, ERP integration ownership, or technical leadership of engineers. If you want the title change to hold weight externally too, pursuing the Application Architect and System Architect certifications would formalize exactly what you're already doing day-to-day — and both are prerequisites toward the CTA (Certified Technical Architect) track if you ever want to go further.

Good luck with the title review — sounds like it's overdue! ☁️

Just wrapped up the Setup with Agentforce Quest on Salesforce Trailhead!

Agentforce is powerful, but there is room to make the setup assistant much more dynamic.

A key enhancement I’d love to see is seamless multi-intent context switching:

  • Fluid Multi-Topic Reasoning: During the module, asking the agent about Org-Wide Defaults and then switching to Permission Sets prompted a confirmation to leave the previous context. It would be much smoother if the agent could dynamically fetch cross-topic platform settings within the same thread without explicit branch prompts.
  • Persistent Session History: Giving Admins an easy side-by-side view or unified history log of past queries would make comparing setup configs and auditing decisions significantly faster.

Excited to see how Salesforce continues to refine Agentforce setup workflows!

The multi-intent point is especially important for admin workflows. Having to explicitly leave one context before checking a related setting can make simple configuration comparisons feel unnecessarily fragmented. A persistent history with linked setup changes would also make troubleshooting and auditing much easier. Even resources like theffadvanceserver can benefit from that kind of context-aware workflow when documenting or comparing technical configurations.

Completed the Setup with Agentforce Quest! 🚀

It was a great hands-on experience and helped me understand how Agentforce can simplify Salesforce setup, troubleshoot access issues, and make admin tasks more efficient. The ability to work with objects, fields, and automation through natural language makes the experience really impressive.

Looking forward to exploring more Agentforce capabilities! 💡⚡

I believe Agentforce will evolve toward handling complete business processes rather than isolated tasks. For example, an admin could describe a requirement in natural language, and Agentforce could propose objects, fields, flows, permissions, and reports as a single solution. To maintain control, admins would still review, approve, and audit all changes, with security boundaries based on user permissions.

The balance between AI-driven automation and administrator oversight will likely be key to enabling more complex multi-step tasks while maintaining trust, compliance, and security.

Really excited to see Setup with Agentforce now generally available!

🚀

What stood out to me most is how strongly the experience is built around admin feedback and real-world needs. As AI continues to become a bigger part of Salesforce, making setup more intuitive and accessible for admins is incredibly important.

The focus on simplifying the setup experience can help admins spend less time navigating complexity and more time focusing on building useful, trusted AI experiences for their organizations.

A great step forward for the Salesforce ecosystem! 👏

Looking for a Remote Salesforce Internship Opportunity (Paid or Unpaid)

Hi Trailblazers! 👋

I'm Peer Abbas Ali Shah, a Computer Science (AI) graduate from Pakistan with 1 year of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Admin & Developer Intern at Cyber Tech Infinity. I've worked across Object Manager, Flow Builder, Validation Rules, Reports & Dashboards, Profiles/Roles/Permission Sets, and have practical exposure to Apex, LWC, and SOQL. I'm also actively progressing through Trailhead's Admin and Developer pathways while preparing for my Salesforce Certified Administrator exam.

I'm looking to connect with startups, nonprofits, consulting partners, or growing teams who could use an extra pair of hands on their Salesforce org — whether that's configuration, automation, data cleanup, or reporting. I bring reliability, a fast learning curve, and genuine enthusiasm for the platform.

If you know of any openings, referrals, or teams looking for motivated Salesforce talent, I'd really appreciate a connection. Happy to share my resume directly too!
