Hi All! I need your help understanding how we can integrate Google Form ( the website form is a Google form) with Salesforce (NPSP) if the customer is not interested in paying for an integration tool like Zapier.

regards,  Preeti

    We had a similar setup and used Google Forms -> Google Sheets -> Skyvia -> Salesforce. The form responses landed in Sheets, then Skyvia (https://skyvia.com/data-integration/integrate-salesforce-google-sheets) picked them up on a schedule and loaded them into the Salesforce objects we needed.

    It’s not a completely free option, so if $0 is a hard requirement, I’d probably look at Apps Script instead. But if the main issue is avoiding Zapier costs, this worked well for us.

We have been experiencing an issue with our CloudAlly Salesforce backup since 29 July 2026.

CloudAlly has investigated the issue and confirmed that Salesforce is returning the following OAuth error:

{

"error": "invalid_grant",

"error_description": "expired access/refresh token"

}

As part of the troubleshooting, I clicked the Reinstall

option in CloudAlly and completed the reauthentication process using my Salesforce System Administrator account.

CloudAlly has confirmed that, under normal circumstances, this should replace the previous refresh token with a newly issued one. However, Salesforce continues to treat the refresh token being presented as expired or revoked, and the backup task becomes disconnected again.

We have not made any Salesforce configuration changes around the time the backups stopped.

Is there anyone who has the same issue?

    Hi @Usman Khan, thank you for your reply. CloudAlly confirmed that it was a bug, and it has now been fixed. Everything is working correctly again.

    Thank you for your help anyway!

Hi everyone,

We currently use Blackthorn Event Management for our virtual events (webinars with GoToWebinar, Zoom meetings) and in-person events. We’re looking to explore new event management tools and would appreciate any recommendations.

Key features we're looking for:

-Salesforce integration for attendee tracking

-No limit on registrations

-Easy setup for registration pages (customizable)

-QR code check-in app functionality

If anyone has experience with a tool that fits these needs, especially within the nonprofit organizations, I'd love to hear your suggestions!

Thank you!

    We are using EventSpark/SparkSmiths. We are now a few months in and still very much learning but it seems like it will work for our needs and hits on all the functionality you mentioned.

Saw a notice today about a number of security changes happening with SF and the ones I have some questions on are around the new MFA prompting for when they run or view/export reports.  I know we can set a cool down period, but it looks like at least every 2 hours anyone looking at a report will need to redo MFA is that correct?  What about reports on dashboard, etc? Just wondering if anyone has any insight. Prepare for the upcoming Step-up Authentication requirements on Report Actions

    Step-up authentication for reports also deletes any unsaved report customizations. Sometimes I don't want to save the customizations. But since I cannot know when I am going to have to "step up" until I try an export, now I have to create new reports, save, and then delete when finished to avoid losing anything thanks to a sudden demand to "step up". SF really has their heads up up the backsides with this.

I'm baffled because I have both Windows Hello and a 1pasword passkey set up on my computer.  I am able to log into Salesforce with either.  I can export reports using these passkeys, but when I (as an Admin) try to generate a temporary verification code for another user, my computer suddenly doesn't recognize any of my passkeys.

If I click on "Verify Your Identity", nothing happens.  If I click it enough times, it logs me out and I have to log in again with my passkey.

I don't understand why I can use my passkey for other logins/verifications, but this step doesn't seem to recognize it.  Can anyone help?

Thank you!

I can log into SF with my passkey, but when I try to generate a temporary verification code, it cannot verify me

    While troubleshooting the same issue for our org, I came across some other threads that recommended trying to generate the verification code on Salesforce Classic instead of lightning, and that worked for me. Seems like lightning is bugged after the passkey change. Wanted to pass it along since I found your post first while searching 🫡

I have been a SFDC since 1999 and have successfully completed multiple Org Swaps for clients that were backed into corners due to poor implementations or layers of Scar Tissue.

In 27 years I have never had an AE forced the client to purchase more than 1 license (of equal level (EE, UE) to provision the new Org.    I have a situation now where a Non Profit Client (On UE NPSP) is being told by AE and his VP that the only way they will support an Org Swap is for the client to purchase 10 additional UE Sales Cloud Licenses in order for Ops to Provision the New Org.

Is this the new Policy at SFDC?    In June, I just completed an Org Swap for another Non Profit and they had no similar requirement.

Looking for other consultants, Partners, or SFDC folks to weigh in here.   Thanks

We are setting up our individual giving program, and not sure the best route to track our individual portfolios. Should we add them as a campaign or a custom field on the household accounts, (and list the fundraiser there)? What does everyone use?

    Hey Zachary,

    Neither Campaign nor a plain custom field is the standard NPSP approach, most orgs actually assign portfolios through Contact/Account Ownership.

    Standard NPSP pattern: assign each Individual (Contact or Household Account) directly to a gift officer using the Owner field, that's the native "who owns this relationship" mechanism NPSP is built around, then build a list view or report filtered by Owner = [Gift Officer] to see each person's portfolio at a glance. This avoids cluttering records with a redundant custom field just to store who owns them.

    On top of ownership, most orgs layer in NPSP Levels (a numeric field like Total Gifts driving a Bronze/Silver/Gold/Platinum-style tier) to help prioritize within each officer's portfolio, and Engagement Plans to automate the cultivation/solicitation task cadence per donor.

    Campaigns aren't typically used for portfolio tracking itself, they're better suited for specific asks/appeals tied to a fundraising effort, not for representing an ongoing "this person belongs to this gift officer" relationship.

    If you're on newer Nonprofit Cloud (not just NPSP), there's now a dedicated Fundraising Portfolios feature purpose-built for this exact use case, worth checking if your org has access to it before building a custom solution.

Hi,  I'm trying to create a flow so when we have a new donor (first donation, but may have an existing contact/account record), they receive a series of emails (3 in total).     I can see how to make it work if it is a one-off email, but not multiple emails.    I can create scheduled paths, but I can't figure out how to make the criteria so that it triggers only for a first-time donation.  I could use Get Elements and do it there, but then I can't do scheduled paths.  The drip campaign would be 1st email immediately, 2nd email 7 days later, 3rd email 14 days later.    I've been using the opportunity object. I have a field on there that shows "total gifts" similar to what npsp has on the account and contact objects.    I wasn't using contact or account object as the triggering object b/c we also have grants, DAFs, etc as opportunities so I  need to be able to only send it if the new donation record type is "donation" and not "grant" or "DAF", etc.    Has anyone done this before and how did you make it work.

    Opportunity + Donation Record Type + a reliable First Donation flag + Scheduled Paths

    is the cleanest Flow design.

    Opportunity Created

           |

           |-- Record Type = Donation

           |-- Total Gifts = 1

           |

           +---- Immediate Path

           |       └── Send Email #1

           |

           +---- Scheduled Path: 7 Days After Created Date

           |       └── Send Email #2

           |

           +---- Scheduled Path: 14 Days After Created Date

                   └── Send Email #3

Is the Partner license compatible with the Fundraising Permission set on NPC org?    Community Plus Login doesn't work with the Fundraising Permission Set.  I have a use case to show the donation history in the Experience Cloud on a NPC Org.
