Not within the current TACO connector.

Your connector’s TypeScript code runs only after Tableau EPS launches the connector window. The WMIC failure occurs inside Tableau EPS before index.ts, MyFetcher.ts, or MyParser.ts runs.

Using PowerShell/WMI would require Tableau to update EPS itself. You cannot replace that behavior through:

  • connector.json
  • index.ts
  • the fetcher
  • the parser
  • JavaScript inside the .taco file

Microsoft’s recommended migration applies to software whose source code you control. Tableau would need to change its EPS implementation to use PowerShell or WMI APIs. support.microsoft.com

For now, the practical choices are:

  1. Use Microsoft’s temporary WMIC package.
  2. Install a Tableau version whose EPS supports the WMIC removal.
  3. Run Tableau on an older Windows environment where WMIC exists.

Hello, I’m currently preparing for the Salesforce Certified Business Analyst (BA-201) exam.

I’ve reviewed several practice questions available online, but many of them feel too high-level and don’t reflect the depth or scenario-based nature of the actual certification exam. Most questions focus on basic definitions rather than real-world use cases.

Can anyone recommend practice exams or question sources that closely match the actual Salesforce Business Analyst certification format and help with understanding real exam scenarios?

I’d start with the official exam guide and learning materials, then add some third-party practice questions if you need more hands-on review. Scenario-based questions can be particularly useful for finding knowledge gaps and seeing which topics need another look.

I’ve also found ValidExamDumps useful as an additional practice resource.

Are there any Practice test for Certified-Business-Analyst Exam?

Official exam resources should always be the starting point, but they may not cover enough practice for every candidate. Third-party practice questions can be useful for testing your understanding, reviewing difficult topics, and getting familiar with different question formats. I’d use them alongside the official exam guide rather than as a replacement.

Are there any Practice test for Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional (AP-208) Exam?

There may not be an official practice-question set for this exam. Third-party scenario-based practice questions can still be useful for checking your understanding, identifying weaker areas, and getting comfortable with different question formats, while the official exam guide and learning resources should remain your primary study sources.

I created a Build Your Own (Aura) Experience Cloud site in a Salesforce Developer Edition org.

In Experience Builder, the Pages panel contains Home, Create Record, Error, Generic [Object], Login, Search, Service Not Available, and Too Many Requests, but there is no + New Page option.

I have:

  •  System Administrator access
  •  Create and Set Up Experiences permission
  •  Public access enabled
  •  Tried both Build Your Own (LWR) and Build Your Own (Aura)
  •  Checked Administration → Pages and Preferences

Salesforce documentation indicates that Experience Builder should allow creating new standard/object pages through Pages → New Page, but that option is not present in my Builder.

Is this a Developer Edition limitation, an org configuration issue, or a Salesforce platform issue?

    Hello @Obi Henry

Try zooming out your browser window (press Ctrl + - on Windows or Cmd + - on Mac) to see if the button reveals itself at the bottom of the Pages dropdown.

Ensure your user profile has the "Create and Set Up Experiences" permission enabled in Salesforce Setup.

Hi All,

We have an  Invoice and We need to remove the comment.

I tried to remove the comments using Salesforce Inspector, but the Edit button is disabled. This could be because the invoice has already been approved and the ProcessInstanceStep object, ,which  is read-only.

Could you please advise on how we can remove these comments?

Thank you in advance

Hi everyone,

My company recently migrated from HubSpot to Salesforce Marketing Cloud Growth and I am trying to rebuild a simple contact form flow.

The goal is to create the following process:

When someone submits the contact form:

  1. The Flow should first check whether the person already exists in our Salesforce database.

If the person does not exist:

  • Create a new Lead record in Salesforce.
  • Send a confirmation email to the person who submitted the form.
  • Send an internal email notification to our sales team containing the lead information:
    • Name
    • Email address
    • Question/message submitted through the form

If the person already exists as a Lead or Contact:

  • Do not create a duplicate record.
  • Still send a confirmation email to the person who submitted the form.
  • Send an internal notification to our sales team containing:
    • Name
    • Email address
    • Question/message submitted through the form

The main goal is to avoid duplicate records while ensuring both the customer and sales team receive the correct notifications for every form submission.

I tried using the Send Email action directly in the Form-Triggered Flow, but I received this error:

I then tried creating a Subflow. However, the information from the form submission was not passed correctly to the Subflow. The Subflow either:

  • Did not send an email at all, or
  • Sent an email with incorrect Lead data, or
  • Sent an email without any form information.

Any advice or examples of the correct Flow architecture would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

    Hi Hau,

I’d keep the form-triggered Flow responsible for the submission and record lookup, and move the email logic into a reusable Subflow.

The important part is to explicitly pass the form values into the Subflow rather than expecting the Subflow to access the parent Flow’s variables. For example, create Subflow input variables for Name, Email, Message, and the Salesforce record Id, and mark them as Available for input. Then map the Form-Triggered Flow variables to those inputs when calling the Subflow.

    A simple structure would be:

Form Submission → Find existing Lead/Contact → Create Lead if needed → Call Email Subflow

    Then the Email Subflow can:

    • Send the confirmation email to the submitted email address.
    • Send the internal notification to the sales team.
    • Use the passed form values for the message and the Lead/Contact data for the record information.

For duplicate prevention, make sure the lookup uses the appropriate matching criteria (for example, normalized email) and handles both Lead and Contact before creating a new Lead.

If the Subflow is receiving blank or incorrect values, I’d first debug the parent Flow and verify the values immediately before the Subflow element. Then check the Subflow input variable mappings. That usually makes it clear whether the problem is with the form variables or the Subflow configuration.

I already checked with our IT Help Desk and they have no idea what is causing it.  It has been like this for 2 weeks.
