I am trying to create a new page in my Salesforce Experience Site, but I am getting the following error:

“An error has occurred while processing your request. The salesforce.com support team has been notified of the problem.”

Because of this error, I am unable to create the new Experience Site page.

I have attached a screenshot of the error for reference.

Please help me understand why this error is occurring and how I can resolve it.

    Hey Vishal,

This matches a documented Salesforce Known Issue: Internal Server Error in Experience Builder when creating/accessing page variations. It's a recognized platform bug tied to how the builder handles new page creation for certain page types, not something wrong with your API name or setup.

Workaround from Salesforce's own known issue documentation:

    1. Open Experience Builder, open the Pages menu

    2. Locate the affected page, click the three dots next to it, go to Page Properties

    3. From there, try creating the page fresh as a page variation with a basic/blank layout rather than through the standard "New Page" flow

If this workaround doesn't resolve it for you, per the same known issue, the recommended next step is opening a case with Salesforce Support directly, referencing this as matching the known "Internal Server Error in Experience Builder when accessing page variations" issue and providing your specific Error ID (628191604-286554) so they can trace it against the root cause already on file.

Following the instructions in "Enable Digital Experiences and Set Up Messaging" I keep getting this message when clicking the "Verify step to earn 100 points":

"Step not yet complete in MIAW Org

Make sure you created and connected to the Developer Edition org with Messaging."

Since I'm new to Salesforce and the Digital Experiences I'm not sure what went wrong and how to fix it.

I tried to delete and start over - but when trying to delete the routing configurations it says I don't have permission to do that action - so I'm kind of stuck at this point.

    I have found the issue.

For whatever reason following the "Create a Queue" step didn't produced a queue, which then made selecting "Category 1 Biking Queue" in the "Omni-Channel Routing type" in the "Create a Channel" step impossible.

Trying to create a new queue resulted in an error when trying to enter the Routing Configuration for "Category 1 Biking" ("

    Error:

No matches found."). So I had to click the search icon next to the input, then "Clear Search Results" to see a list of possible Routings in the Search Results (and click the Category 1 Biking).

After that I saw the new created queue, and the rest of the process could be completed.

Hello ,

is there any possibility that we can  inject script to the headers dynamically in to a experience site through a LWC.

Sample script :

<head> <script type="application/ld+json"> { "@context": "https://schema.org", "@type": "BreadcrumbList", "itemListElement": [{ "@type": "ListItem", "position": 1, "name": "Books", "item": "https://example.com/books" },{ "@type": "ListItem", "position": 2, "name": "Science Fiction", "item": "https://example.com/books/sciencefiction" },{ "@type": "ListItem", "position": 3, "name": "Award Winners" }] } </script> </head>

Digital Experience (aka Community Partner) - Fields Write access for Community Users

Hi,

To share my exprerience, I was searching how Partner User could write a field.

Here is the solution and settings which can affect :

  • check sharing rules on Digital Exprience / Settings / Sharing Sets / go to the object and give access level "Read/Write"
  • on the profile Community User / go to the objet / give Write Access
    • + give the acces for the field you want to let modificaiton

The Page Layout could also have settings, so go to the Page Layout / on the wrench for the field / check access you want.

Experience Cloud: Show Me How - How to Design Beautiful, Responsive Websites With Salesforce Experience Cloud.

Hi everyone! I'm pretty excited because I get to present my first Show Me How webinar tomorrow, July 25, at 9am PDT / 12pm EST. In this webinar I'll be showcasing a web page that was designed with Enhanced LWR Experience Builder, and demonstrating how I was able to create it. This web page was built exclusively with standard components using no custom web components, no custom HTML, and no AppExchange products. If you haven't worked with LWR very much, or are just interested to see what you can do with it, this would be a great webinar to attend.

Hi all! I've got a followup article that was recently published on Salesforce Ben which covers some of the neat things you can do with the Columns component. The article uses the same demo website shown in the Show Me How episode, and it goes into more detail about how to achieve the layouts you see in the website.

    https://www.salesforceben.com/how-to-use-salesforce-experience-builders-columns-component-like-a-pro/

If anyone has any questions about how to get similar layouts for your website, don't hesitate to reach out! I'm happy to help.

Hi All,

We have created a unlocked package and when we tried to install this package in sandbox, we are getting notification that package installation failed

1.  Experience Cloud: Changed Password Email file is located in both the package you tried to install, and in either the unfiled-public folder or a user folder in this org. To install this package, either delete Experience Cloud: Changed Password Email from this org, or move it to a different folder.

The Email template is standard template connected to experience bundles

We tried to delete it from Destination Org but its not getting deleted. We renamed the email templates in destination org and still getting the same error.

We tried to delete it from package and our package validation is failed due to dependency errors.

Any recommendation how to bypass this

Thanks in advance

We were able to bypass the errors by moving all the reports and email templates from UnfiledPublic to custom public folder. We have logged a case with salesforce support (45992349) but no lucky. There is no documentation around it as well.
