Upcoming Community Sprint Events - Join in the fun today!

• February 27th, 2025 - Sydney, AU as part of Sydney World Tour. Location: Salesforce Tower Sydney. Register!
• March 5th - 6th, 2025 - Community Engagement at TDX! Join the Nonprofit Community team onsite and around SFO during TDX. More details to come, and registration for TDX can be found here.
• March 17th & 18th, 2025 - Community Sprint as part of DC Agentforce World Tour. Location: Salesforce McLean Office in McLean, VA. Register today!

• May, 2025 - Community Sprint as part of NYC Agentforce World Tour. Location: NYC Salesforce Tower. Exact date TBA.
• June 6, 2025 - London’s Calling Community engagement
• June 9th, 2025 (and maybe 10th) - Community Sprint as part of London Agentforce World Tour. Location: Salesforce Bluefin Office, London Southwark.
• June, 2025 - Community Day, Amsterdam, NL. New and looking for local Partner sponsors! Aiming for June 17th, but exact date/location TBA.
• June 19th, 2025 - Community Day, Paris, FR. New and looking for local Partner sponsors! Location: Salesforce Paris office.
• July, 2025 - Virtual 2-Day Community Sprint. Exact date TBA.
• September, 2025 - Community Sprint & Learning Day, Vancouver, BC. Exact date/location TBA.
• October 14th - 17th, 2025 - Dreamforce Community engagement. Exact activities/date TBA.
• November, 2025 - Community Sprint & Learning Day, Denver, CO. Exact date/location TBA.
• November, 2025 - UK Affordable Housing Sprint. Location: Exact date/location TBA.
• January, 2026 - Virtual 2-Day Community Sprint. Exact date TBA.

It’s 2025 and that means we’re celebrating 10 years of Sprints as a community! 🥳💙🦖 

As Director of the Salesforce Commons program and a participant or host at almost every event in the past 10 years, I've had the honour of witnessing the incredible success they've had on the Salesforce Nonprofit and Education Trailblazer community firsthand.

What started as a way for the Salesforce community to contribute to the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) has grown into a global movement, bringing together over 3,700 participants at 59 events to create freely accessible solutions for nonprofits and educational institutions. 

This article is a heartfelt 💙 thank you 💙 to everyone who has contributed their time, energy, and skills over the past decade. I reached out to all of the original planners of the first Sprints in 2015, and am excited to share the memories and reflections I received. 

Community Sprints are more than just technology; they're about creating connections, sharing ideas, and making a real difference. Read the full article to learn more about our journey, how to get involved at events this year, and see the incredible impact we've achieved together.

#FridayShoutOut​ to EVERYONE who participated in the Sprint this week. I have been following along on Twitter (seriously, if you arent following #Sfdosprint​ please follow ASAP HERE). To see the community come together to connect, to create and further projects, to honor fellow community members, to have FUN (#Sprinty​), is so inspiring. And also the fact that there were community members represented from 13 different countries? AMAZING. @Cori O'Brien​ and @Judi Sohn​ thank you for facilitating this amazing community experience, and to all @Salesforce Commons & Sprint Events​ members, participants, project leads -- everyone, you're amazing! Why is community important to you? What motivates you to contribute?

The time I stepped in the Salesforce ecosystem in 2011 there was no Trailhead and just a few resources to learn from, the biggest source was the community, it not just helped me learn and grow but also inspired me to share and help other Trailblazers in the ecosystem. I learned from others and now I am #givingback. Everything I share, every answer I give, is really a great feeling to see that is helping someone, reminds me of the time I was on the other side facing problems and trying to find someone who can help, that's motivation.

Is there one moment that stands out about your time in the Hub?

I have many actually:

1. Introduction to Llamas at Nonprofit Social Hour by @Melissa Hill Dees​ 
2. Joining my first #Community Sprints​ and meeting #Sprinty​ 
3. Got a appreciation message for an answer by the person who asked the question
4. Answering the question answered by sir @Steve Molis​ and still got the best answer
5. Co-leading the International Sprint Programming sub-group of DEI Initiatives all thanks to @Brittany Daley​ 
6. Got a chance to Interview @Selina Suarez​, CEO PepUp Tech while working with Eco-wide Coalition group of OSC Sprint

Anything else you’d like to share about yourself and your Salesforce journey?

Akash Mishra is leading the “New Delhi, In Salesforce Nonprofit User Group” from past 3 years and he is an open source community sprinter and co leader for International Sprint Programming sub-group of DEI Initiatives. He is working as a Technical Lead at @Dazeworks with a total experience of 9+ years developing over the Salesforce Platform, he is Salesforce Lightning Champion, Salesforce Certified Developer and Certified Administrator and serving the Salesforce community from past 6 years. Greater association with non-profits and educational institutions in India, evangelizing, motivating and inspiring to learn and to be successful with Salesforce. He is the core team member of IndiaDreamin in 2017-18 and also a co-organiser of NonprofitDreamin in 2021.

Why is community important to you? What motivates you to contribute?

When I was starting out as a solo admin, the community was the only place I could get answers to my Salesforce questions as well as geek out with fellow nerds (Trailblazers hadn't been coined yet) on things such as s-controls. (R.I.P) I contribute where I can to help someone else get unstuck, move forward with their day, and do more awesome things with Salesforce.

Is there one moment that stands out about your time in the Hub?

The Friday #Coffee Chat​ during this pandemic have been a greatly appreciated social destress. I never would have heard about it if it wasn't for Lizzy and Anne's announcement in the Hub! Plus it's just great to see friendly faces and put actual faces to names I've seen around so much. A close second is when I got my limited edition Salesforce.org sweatpants in the mail. And then those quickly became my wife's sweatpants. Thief.

It's Friday! The first Friday of April.
