#Related Record0 discussing

Hello All,

Is there a way to edit fields (similar to inline editing) on a related list on a Lightning Record page? To clarify, I don't mean edit the fields to display, I mean actually updating a field, like adding a data to a date or name field on the related record directly from the lightning record page.

I'm seeing an issue with the Related Record component on a Lightning Record Page. Right now after linking a new contact, an "Import from Device" option is presented.

After clicking the "Import from Device" and selecting one of my device contacts, the view on the Record page is updated to reflect my device contact selection but these changes are not saved to the Salesforce Contact. If I click "View" from the Related Record component, I can confirm that my device contact details are not saved to that Salesforce Contact.

The desktop behavior is that changes made on the Related Record component are automatically saved to the Contact. Appears to not have parity in this "Import from Device" situation.

Currently it looks like you're only able to "View" or "Remove" so maybe there isn't intended to have parity between Desktop & Phone, but if so the "Import from Device" feature should be removed.

Hi All

I am using Email to Salesforce in outlook and the "log email on send" function to add the email to related records.

I am noticing when my email is sent to someone who is a contact in our system the email is not being related to the custom object record that i have related the email to and is only being related to the contact.

We have a custom object for projects. We'd like to relate multiple records from the same object on a record, potentially several times. For example, we would like NPI project records to be related to any of the other record types within the FWM Project object AND have it be connected within those record types (picture).

When we did this between objects, we used the Junction Object feature. However, because these records are all on the same object, we cannot do that.

Hello everyone, Does anyone know how to create a journey for a related contact on the lead object? 

We are trying to put the referer of a lead in a "thank you" journey. The goal is to accomplish this by creating a data extension or sales cloud reporting (don't know sql).

Appreciate your help, let me know if you need more information.
