Hello, I have a church account field lookup on the contact layout and the household layout.  I would like to give the church account a soft credit every time a related contact or household gets a hard credit.  What is the best way to do this?  Would a flow be the best way?  If so, how would I build that flow? Thank you!

Hi Coffee Chatters! We are doing something a little different during the FIRST 15 MINUTES of #CoffeeChat THIS FRIDAY!

What Is This For?

During the pre-show countdown for the #NonprofitSummit2022 we want everyone to get fired up! We're collecting FUN, SILLY, SWAG-FILLED getting ready videos!!! You'll have a chance to be featured on the Mainstage!

Step 1 – Collect your Salesforce Swag

We need you to grab all the Salesforce swag you’ve accumulated over the years, including hoodies, plushies, beanies, shoes, mugs etc. Put on your Salesforce hoodie or other clothing, set up your plushies and mugs on your desk in front of you.

Step 2 – Get ready to record on your phone (or computer)

  • Pick a well-lit, quiet area in your home or office
  • Face a light source, do not sit in front of a window or lamp
  • Eliminate background noises
  • Choose the highest video quality setting on your phone / computer, ideally 4k at 24fps
  • Position your phone horizontally
  • Set up your plushies on your desk in front of you (make sure your camera can see them)

Step 3 – What to do when you hit record

In total we need you to record yourself for about 2 minutes. There are 3 things we need you to do:

  1. Getting Ready (45 seconds) – Record yourself sitting down in your chair with your Salesforce mug and notebook. Look directly into the camera and wave. Point to your Salesforce gear. Dance. Or have your plushies dance. (Note: There will be a live DJ spinning during this section). Point to your watch to indicate that it’s almost time! Or do all the above. Have fun, be creative and be silly.
  2. Counting Down (20 seconds) – Verbally countdown from 20 seconds to 0. Get excited and get creative. Countdown using your fingers. Throw confetti. Blast an airhorn. Surprise us.
  3. Settle in (30 seconds) – Finally, settle in and get ready to take notes and be inspired. Open your notebook and get your pen ready to write. Give a thumbs up. Smile into the camera showing that you’re to get started!

Step 4 – Upload your video

And you’re done!  Upload your video here.

I’ve drafted a proposal to present for next years SF Non-Profit summit. Looking for a few volunteers to read it over and give feedback. They don’t give you much room, so it’s quite short. I still have some more room, but not sure what else to add. If you’re willing, let me know. Thanks.
