Hello Salesforce Devs! I'm coming to you with a special Hyperforce announcement!

Today we are announcing the release of a new global offering called Hyperforce EU Operating Zone.

  • It's new way of combining our industry-leading products on Hyperforce with 24/7 customer and technical support in the EU, and strictly controlled access to customer data by EU-based personnel only.
  • Hyperforce EU OZ extends the value of Hyperforce by providing companies around the world with the ability to securely grow their business to the EU while contributing to data governance goals.

Why is this offering important - why now?

Orgs everywhere are facing an ever changing and increasingly challenging regulatory, financial, and geopolitical landscape, which is making connecting with customers and stakeholders harder than ever. As ops grow, they need to scale fast while meeting new compliance and governance requirements in accordance with local laws. Additionally, customers want to be confident with where their data is stored/processed, who has access to it, and how it is used. For many, this means having the capability to keep their data within the European Union.

Hyperforce EU OZ allows customers to establish data residency by storing and processing their customer data in the EU while also receiving 24/7 customer and eng support by EU-based personnel.

Who is this offering for?

All industries and sectors are relevant for this offering. Customers in the following industries may have more interest due to heightened regulatory pressures: Financial Services, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Communications, Media, and Public Sector.

What happened for GA today?

Today, the world got word of EU OZ via the resources below!

Thank you for reading and helping spread word of this new exciting launch! #hyperforce

Hey All! Does Pardot custom redirect track prospects even if they have not accepted the privacy and c banner on the website and have not filled out any form?  My company has a concern about the privacy policy and GDPR that does not track prospects who have not accepted cookies. They are not using custom redirect for privacy compliance but in my understanding, experience, and multiple tests, Pardot only tracks prospects from custom redirect who allowed the cookie’s tracker to work. I mean Pardot will track them as soon as accepts the cookies, and past data does not populate historically so for example it did not track landing page visits before allowing the cookie tracker.  I want to double-check with you if this is correct and if we are good to use custom redirects for social media URLs or Ads campaigns. What are the best practices?   Thanks!!!

@Nicole Naji, I don't feel like I'm the right person to give you an "official" answer on this... that could potentially have legal implications if done incorrectly. In the interest of providing the most official correct answer, I'd suggest logging a case with support, perhaps there's more detailed documentation that they can provide.

But, in the interest of being helpful...

The redirect links are custom URLs. Those URLs lead to UNIQUE pages. that unique page is visited, Pardot can see that "someone" clicked that link.

Just the fact that the webpage was opened, is what is being counted and tracked.

I'm not sure how cookies would play a part in that.

If the original recipient of the email forwarded the email with a custom redirect link to other people... and they click the link, I believe Pardot would still attribute those clicks to the original recipient. Regardless of cookies.

I'm working on a project where the client has the following GDPR Compliance policy.

Within 72 hours of a subscriber/customer request all information in the system on file, provide all information.

Within 72 hours of a subscriber/customer request to delete all information in the system, delete all information.  Are there any recommendations on how to accomplish this quickly with #Marketing Cloud? #GDPR #GDPRcompliance

    Hi Seth,

Thats applies for any organisation that may hold any european personal data (regardless to where they may live now) so I argue all companies should have this in place. This legislation is live for years now.

    So is a process/people question:

1 how to pull all personal data with detailed specific consent on each piece capture and hosted on a structured manner

    2. how to process deletion upon request, including cascading up and down to other parties and backups etc
