if its a lightning page edit also the lighting page and make sure you have it added there. you may have the related lists single element on the page.

I have been asked the question from one of my colleagues.. He is doing an email campaign and has sent an email using the Salesforce Inbox add-in, has clicked to track email when he sent it, but where do we go to find out details of the actual opens for the email and also the details on links within the email that have been clicked, etc?

Hi All,

I set up a campaign in SF which I then brought over to Pardot. I need some help to know if I did it accurately for reporting purposes pls.

Heres how I did it:

  • Pulled a report
  • add that report a (new) campaign
  • took that campaign into Pardot
  • sent stuff/emails with a cta of re-engaging with customers.

Let's say 1 person re-engaged from that email and ended up converting,  the AM/rep, would update that contact info in SF which SF would then tie that person back to the email campaign in Pardot and report that as a conversion that came from the email....amirite?

Help needed with Email Campaign automation:

I was wondering if there was a way to send automated emails to prospects who did not open your email from the first send out? Also, if a user replies to an email from our campaign, can we take them out of the engagement program? #AskAPardotExpert

Thanks,

For your first point, I believe it is possible to trigger a completion action to send to a specific list upon email opening and then set that list as a suppression for a second email fire in engagement studio...

Is there a way to send daily/weekly campaign report email automatically from Pardot?

Hello - I'm looking for some guidance on tracking emails sent from within a campaign. I just want basic information like open rate. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

When creating a completion action on your email, is there any way to make a different completion action for each link?

For example, I wanted to make a Salesforce campaign for each of the links in my email with a parent campaign as the email. This way our sales team can see which of the offers in our email the customer is interested in since they do not have access to that information in Pardot.

But, when I set the email up in Pardot it looks like I can only select one link to attach a completion action. I am looking at the clicked section under completion actions on the send page. If I add a second completion action it only creates another option under the same specified URL.

That makes it more difficult! But if you are comfortable digging through her code, you could still use the custom redirects â€” there are just a few more steps. You can create the custom redirects in Pardot and copy the custom redirect URLs into a note. A separate URL will be created for each custom redirect you create. Then you'll go into the code and find the <a href=""> element for each appropriate link and replace everything between the quotation marks with the corresponding custom redirect URL that you copied earlier.

I wish I had an easier solution! I hope it works out in one way or another. And let me know if you need help with the code!

Can there be a hierarchy in Campaigns where there are multiple "parent" campaigns? Ex.

Main Parent Campaign = Email

-Parent = newsletters

---child = newsletter 1

---child = newsletter 2

-Parent = company announcements

---child = announcement 1

---child = announcement 2

Hey Lily - we've also looked at whether or not multiple parents is the answer OR do you need additional fields on your campaigns to categorize them by channel (IE: email), vendor, asset type, etc. It keeps your hierarchy cleaner when you differentiate what's needed in the parent/child structure and what are different attributes you need for filtering or categorization. I hope that helps!
