Any suggestions how to best monitor a Facebook Group with Social Studio?

@Jason Ciciliot Unfortunately this was not a capability in Social Studio. It has been possible to monitor individual named pages through Source Groups - but the challenge with FB Groups was not addressed.
What is your use-case?
There are several social media defined in a single Data Source. It results in all the Extended Media Types being shown in a single list with no connection to any social media. The same goes for the extended Media Types rule condition where it's not possible to determine which one is linked to each media.
Is it somehow possible to get additional details of each Extended Media Type to choose only those which are related to a particular social media?
Hey @Oleg Mastriukov - unfortunately that also isn't possible. Best practice is to create Data Sources for each platform-type, or for groups of accounts on a specific platform. That way they can be managed independently and the settings are all related to the platform.

In Social Studio, I have Facebook and Instagram accounts connected. Sometimes in both social media, a quiz post is created under which customers publish their replies. Social Studio currently creates cases for each of these comments, but I want to prevent that.
Basically, I'm looking for a rule which says "If the comment is for a particular post, then not create a case for this comment', but on Social Studio Rules most of the rule conditions are about posts/comments themselves, not their parent posts. The closest by its meaning rule condition can check if the parent post exists, but not its content
What is the most convenient way for me to meet the requirement?
@Oleg Mastriukov We did not find a workaround unfortunately. We had our agents check the original post in the Social Conversation component and used a Macro to Close it off with a status of 'No Response Required'.
We have to switch social media tool as Social Studio is going to be phased out. If we need to backup the entire 2022 data, which options are available?
We have connected Facebook accounts as Data Sources in Social Automate and is used in Rules to create cases in Service Cloud. Now all the media types create cases. Is there a way to stop case creation for the posts that we do in Facebook account?
@Vidhyasagar Ranganathan You can disable the Posts Extended Media Types in your Data Source. This will exclude your published Posts from your Case creation rules.
Hi! It's true that salesforce is retiring social studio by november 2024?
Which tool we can use in alternative? a Salesforce tool or something compatible with Salesforce and Pardot.

Notice of Non-Renewal
Salesforce is retiring the Social Studio family of products on November 18, 2024. Social Studio subscriptions won’t be renewable after July 31, 2022 (prior to July 31 renewals will be limited to a maximum length of 1 year). You may continue using Social Studio for the length of your existing contract, or through November 18, 2024, whichever is sooner. For additional information contact your Account Executive.

Users are unable to access comments on a case from client on facebook, what could be the problem. Please assist.
Users have case comment permission enabled but still still they can't view facebook comments.@Tulasi Abothula
