Certified Pardot Specialist Study Group

This is the study & collaboration group for Salesforce Certified Pardot Specialist certification test takers. You will find resources, posts, questions, websites, and other resources that help to prepare you for the exam.

Hi, I am looking for updated practice tests that I can use to prepare for the exam. I found a couple of them in Udemy, but there were comments that the questions are outdated.

If there is anyone here who passed the exam recently, please share any tips that could help me

Thanks,

A prospect is permanently deleted from Pardot. That prospect then fills out a new Pardot form and submits their information.

What happens to the prospect?

Options:

A.

An error message is displayed on the form preventing the prospect from submitting

B.

A new prospect is created even though the prospect had previously been permanently deleted.

C.

No new prospect is created because the prospect had previously been permanently deleted.

D.

The submission of the form retrieves and restores the previously deleted prospect information including activities.

Hey there, who has done the Pardot* specialist cert and what value have you taken from the course?

I manage our Pardot account covering all aspects of tracking, form building, reporting, email marketing etc, although most of my knowledge is self taught, therefore I want to do a number of courses or accreditations to improve my knowledge to be able to level up our Pardot account.

What benefits have people found from doing the accreditation? Or are there other courses on Udemy, LinkedIn Learning, Trailblazer etc that are much better? Feel free to promo any paid courses or user groups I should join here. TIA!!!!

Hi,

We are running some retargeting ads for leads in the system. We have set up the landing pages, custom redirects, scoring, and everything in pardot. They are known prospects so our expectation was that, we can attribute and score them. The LinkedIn ad reports are showing clicks, we can see clicks on landing pages and custom redirects, but it is showing no prospects. Can anyone help me understand why this would happen?

A prospect must be cookied before you can see their activity, so what you are seeing is visitor activity (consult the visitors item under Prospects to see tracked visitors). What this means is that even known prospects still must fill out a form on a tracked website page or a landing page, or click a tracked link in an email you send them.  Custom redirects are trackable but they do not set a cookie.  A known prospect that has no cookie set will show in your prospect list with a red "person" icon. If the cookie is set it will be light green. If they are on your site now the icon is dark green.  There is now a possibility to see retroactive activity on first party cookies as this linkedin post explains, but the cookie must get set first.

I'm going through this trailmix and see multiple tasks like this with nothing to click and no instructions. I assume it's a practice exercise but how do I see the details?

Hello All!

I may have the amazing opportunity to get certified in Pardot at my client's expense.  They are asking for a general idea of the time involved in learning and preparing for the exam.  I have been a Salesforce Admin for almost 15 years, and I have a number of years of experience working in and with Marketing Operations.  I also have Marketo experience and have my Hubspot Marketing Hub certification.  All of that being said, I have no experience with Pardot, specifically.  Does anyone have any idea roughly how many hours it would take to be prepared for the exam?  Any input is greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

I want to start learning Pardot, i've never worked on it before and would appreciate if you share with me the best resources to start with. I finished the trailmix, but I want other resources that will help too :)

Thanks!
