Here's how I did it — without running a single report.

I installed FieldPulse, opened a Contact record, and saw it immediately.

Fill rate badges on every field. Color-coded. Right there on the page.

→ Fax field — 1% fill rate. Dead. → Industry — 18%. Barely alive. → Lead Source — 42%. At risk. → Phone — 89%. Healthy. → Email — 98%. The only field your reps actually trust.

No Excel exports. No batch reports. No admin rabbit holes.

Just open a record and know.

FieldPulse is a free Chrome extension by Forcenaut. 100% local — zero data leaves your browser. No managed package. No Salesforce admin install needed.

30 seconds to install. Instant field clarity.

Hi everyone,

I'm working on the "Customize the Home Page" module in Trailhead and facing an issue while verifying my step.

I've added the Recent Items component, set the custom label to "Recent Cases", selected Case as the object, and set the number of records to 5

. However, when I verify the step, I get the error:

"Step not yet complete in Playful Otter Playground-for practice. Ensure that you have followed all the steps to create the 'Recent Items' component."

I've attached screenshots showing my setup. I also saved and activated the page. Am I missing something? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I ran into this exact error when I did that module, and it turned out to be something small. A couple of things to double-check:

    1. Component name vs. label
      • The Trailhead checker is looking for the component label to be exactly Recent Items (not “Recent Cases”).
      • You can still point it at the Case object, but the label has to stay as “Recent Items” for the badge to validate.
    2. Number of records
      • Make sure it’s set to 5 (sounds like you already did that).
    3. Save + Activate
      • You mentioned activating — just confirm you assigned the Lightning Home page as the org default for the app you’re in (sometimes it’s only activated for one app, and Trailhead is checking another).
    4. Caching
      • If all looks correct, try logging out / logging back in, or refreshing the playground. The Trailhead checker can be a little picky.

So the main thing: switch the label back to Recent Items and try verifying again. That usually clears the error.

Hi Team,

I changed my Salesforce My Domain name while learning the topic , but I didn’t update my login URL. Now, when I try to log in, I get the following error:

🔴 Error: This site can’t be reached – DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN

I am unable to access my org. Could you please help me with the following questions?

  1. How can I recover access to my Salesforce org after changing the My Domain name?
  2. Is there a way to reset or revert to the previous domain?
  3. Can I access my org using a direct Salesforce login URL instead?
  4. Is there a way for Salesforce Support to update my domain settings so I can log in again?
  5. How long does it take for a new My Domain to be fully active?

Hi everyone,

I hope you're doing well. I’m Nitin Joshi from India, currently exploring a career in Salesforce. I come from a non-IT background and have a 5-year gap due to my preparation for government exams. However, I am highly dedicated and a quick learner with strong problem-solving skills.

I’m currently focused on Salesforce Admin and enjoy the learning process so far. I want to know if pursuing this path is practical for someone with my background and gap. Do you think I can find opportunities if I work hard and build the right skills?

Your insights would be truly valuable and motivating for me.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Warm regards,

Nitin Joshi

    Hi @Divya Chauhan

Thank you so much for sharing these helpful links! The resources have given me a lot of clarity about Salesforce career options and opportunities for people from diverse backgrounds. It's reassuring to know that with dedication and certifications, I can overcome challenges like my non-IT background and career gap.

Since you seem experienced, could you please guide me on how to network better or approach companies when I complete my Salesforce Admin and Developer certifications?

This error occurs when you try to access or update a record that you don't have the necessary permissions for. Here are the possible reasons and solutions

    :

    Reasons:-

    Missing Sharing Access:

You don't have access to the record due to sharing rules or manual sharing.

    Field or Object Permissions:

Your profile or permission set lacks the required Read, Edit, or Delete permissions for the object or field.

    Incorrect Record Ownership:

The record is owned by someone in a restricted role hierarchy.

    Invalid ID:

The referenced ID might be incorrect or belongs to a different org.

    Solutions:

    Check Sharing Settings:

Ensure you have appropriate sharing access to the record.

    Verify Profile/Permission Sets:

Confirm your profile has the necessary permissions on the object and fields.

    Review Role Hierarchies:

Check if the role hierarchy provides sufficient access to the record owner.

    Validate the ID:

Ensure the ID is correct and exists in the current org.
