For those looking to put some Wizard Magic into their orgs or just converse with Brian Kwong aka The Salesforce Wizard.

The WizardCast returns with not 1, but 2 guests!

We have the wonderful @Jason Teller  and @Shannon Hale  the Senior Directors of Product Management of Salesforce Flow! They share some of their favorite upcoming Flow features in the Spring 20 release, plus where they see going in the future.

Plus, we discuss just what would be a good theme song for Jason so he doesn't feel left out during meetings.

Great job on this podcast; fantastic episode! The explanation of the before-save, and the fact that order of operation is before the before-save apex trigger is critical. We have many process builders internally that we will be converting in order to improve performance.

Really looking forward to Flow Metrics! Thanks for this! cc

Thanks @Alex Edelstein I have a whole bunch that is already going into more complicated stuff, but someone decided to completely change the Flow builder on me so my videos are all out of date visually ;)

Wow. Just wow. It's been 100 episodes of the #WizardCast

Even more wow, we have the one, the only, @Parker Harris  on this episode! Parker shares some stories from Salesforce past. What happens if you try jumping a Segway off a ramp? Just whose idea was it for Parker to become Lightning Man? Does Parker prefer creamy or crunchy peanut butter?

Nothing but the hard-hitting questions here on the WizardCast. It's a fun episode and a great conversation. You don't want to miss Parker Harris on episode 100 of the WizardCast.

Salesforce announced Einstein Search. @Alexander Lovell  - Product Manager of Search - shares what's new and when people can expect to find AI in their Salesforce searches.

There are not many times where I'm legitimately floored and speechless when a PM shares a new feature. This was one amazing announcement.

Find out how Salesforce is changing how you Search on the platform.

7 #Flow Features coming in #Winter20

There's a lot of features coming out in the next release. The release notes are over 500 pages!

I went through and found 7 updates in the next release that I think are particularly notable and interesting. This is a video that shows how these features are working in a Sandbox preview.

The fourth episode of #Wizard Apprentice is about Lightning Flow Builder Resources! Resources are where we store information for use within the Flow. It's an integral part of creating anything beyond the absolute simplest flows.

Salesforce #IdeaExchange  has been with us for 13 years and hasn't gotten changed much since then. After an idea posted by @Steve Molis  about the issues with Idea statuses, communication, and more rallied the community - Salesforce took notice and began a project.

@Jennifer Sacks  and @Scott Allan talk about why things are changing, what is changing and when, and finally how you can participate RIGHT NOW. This is an episode you don't want to miss & should listen to immediately!

This was a great episode (as usual) and I'm excited to re-engage with the IdeaExchange after a hiatus. I had an idea while listening to the podcast and heard @Jennifer Sacks mention level of effort. Would it be possible to add a visual scorecard to each Idea that ranked things complexity and level of effort on say a scale from 1-10? I'm thinking it could be like the stats on a the back of a baseball card. I think something like that would help us compare the relative likelihood of seeing each Idea delivered. Happy to talk more about this thought with the team!

All of Salesforce automation tools support some sort of logic. At the very least, the logic states when the actions of the automation should occur.

Process builder supports additional logic for certain actions. For example, you can update child records and specify logic of which child records should be updated.

The only declarative automation tool that allows complicated logic and automation pathways is Flow. You define these paths with the Decision element!

This episode of Wizard Apprentice is an overview of the Decision element. You will see how to create and defined outcomes and some examples of use cases of when you would want to use a Decision element.
