My story how I switched careers from music teacher to Salesforce specialist #BeATrailblazer

Yesterday I had a new experience of being a main hero in a show from with Lithuanian national television. It focuses on people who drastically switched their careers. Thou there was some doubts weather I should share it or not, because it really was not a straight forward path without any twists and turns, but I hope this will inspire other people to make the change if they really want it.

Some quick facts about it:

* 10 years I was working and skilling up as a musician with experience as performer and music teacher.

* Found that career as musician was not fulfilling and started looking for other options.

* Spent about 2 years working other jobs, looking for my own place until I found awesome #trailblazer and #mentor from mentoring platform.

* She helped me to get familiar with #salesforce. Then I jumped into Trailhead, got certified and started looking for my first opportunity.

* Got first job as a part time solo #salesforceadmin while working full time as IT SD in another company.

* After a while managed to go full time as Salesforce Admin!

Thou I explained the story shortly, but it holds many challenges, doubts, good and bad decisions. #impostersyndrome was one of them, which was really intense during the first year working as and admin.

And today I cant imagine a more fulfilling career as I have now.

The main message I want to pass is that nothing is more constant than change and no one has to go thru this big changes alone. There's tons of people who are willing to share their knowledge and help for free.

If you're currently seeking a career switch to Salesforce, keep going, it's possible 🙂
