How to Clone an Agent

Hi everyone :)  

 

I am trying to find if there is a way (simple or not), to clone an agent. 

 

Eg, there is an existing agent in an org, and I want to clone the framework to create a new agent. 

 

Any ideas?

    Hi @Megan Johnson,  

    As far as I know, there isn't currently a native Clone Agent feature that automatically duplicates an entire Agent configuration. If you're looking to create a similar agent, you may need to create a new agent and then manually replicate the configuration, such as topics, actions, instructions, and any associated settings.

How remove password for ms outlook .pst
I forgat password for MS Outlook pst.  I am unaware of a way to recover a lost password for a PST file, but there are options to create a new PST password you can unlock pst recover tool. This PST password unlocker software also able to unlock Unicode PST and PST file password.

    Yes, the password on an Outlook PST can be removed or reset without changing the emails and folders stored inside the file. If you have forgotten the PST password, an expert PST password recovery tool can help you remove the Outlook file password effortlessly.

Challenge Verification Error in Custom Metadata Types Basics module

Module: Custom Metadata Types Basics

Unit: Use Custom Metadata Types in Formulas, Default Values, and Validation Rules

Hands-On Org Name: CRM Training

Error Message:

"An unexpected error occurred while inserting or updating test records and we couldn't check your work. Make sure account and opportunity records can be inserted and updated in this org, and click 'Check Challenge' again. If this continues, contact the Trailhead Help team."

 

Description:

The automated verification script is failing with an unexpected error when attempting to insert/update test Account and Opportunity records in my playground . Please assist in resolving or clearing the backend check state for this org.

    Hi @Abhay Ram Solanki

     

    This looks like Trailhead is unable to create or update its test Account and Opportunity records in your org. 

     

    You can try these checks:

    1. Create one Account and one Opportunity manually and confirm they save without any error.
    2. Check if any Validation Rules are blocking the records.
    3. Check for required custom fields on Account or Opportunity.
    4. Check if any Flow, Trigger, or other automation is failing during record creation/update.
    5. Once manual create/update is working fine, tryCheck Challenge again.
    6. If the issue still continues, try the challenge in a fresh Trailhead Playground.

    If the same error happens even in a clean playground, then it may be a Trailhead verification issue and raising a Trailhead Support case would be the better option.

Im not able to see "Standard Profile - No Acct Delete" while selecting profile.

I have "Standard Profile - No Acct Delete"

created in the Profile section, but im not able to select it on this screen, can someone help.

    Hi, deactivate any users with User License = Salesforce Platform in the org that are not needed for the challenge. Now you should have the option for the new users.

Namespace Registry "Link Namespace" fails with missing required code challenge OAuth error

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to link a registered namespace to a Salesforce Dev Hub, but the Link Namespace OAuth flow consistently fails.

I have two Salesforce Developer Edition orgs:

Dev Hub org

Namespace org

The namespace is registered in the second Developer Edition org.

From the Dev Hub, I go to:

Setup → Namespace Registries → Link Namespace

Salesforce opens the OAuth login popup, but instead of displaying the login/authorization screen, the popup immediately returns:

error=invalid_request&error_description=missing%20required%20code%20challenge

Troubleshooting already performed

I have tried the following:

  •  Normal browser 
  •  Incognito/private browser 
  •  Different browser session 
  •  Confirmed My Domain is configured 
  •  Confirmed both Developer Edition orgs are accessible 
  •  Confirmed the SalesforceDX Namespace Registry Connected App exists 
  •  Confirmed the Connected App has OAuth enabled 
  •  Confirmed the required OAuth scopes are present: 
    •  Access the identity URL service 
    •  Manage user data via APIs 
  •  Disabled the org-level Require Proof Key for Code Exchange (PKCE) setting 
  •  Verified the relevant OAuth settings are disabled 
  •  Installed the latest Salesforce CLI 
  •  Salesforce CLI version: 
@salesforce/cli/2.149.9 win32-x64 node-v24.19.0

I also successfully authenticated both orgs through the CLI:

sf org login web --alias CharityFrontDevHub
sf org login web --alias CharityFrontNamespace

Both appear as Connected with sf org list.

The problem therefore appears to occur specifically when Salesforce's Namespace Registry → Link Namespace flow initiates its OAuth authorization.

Additional observation

The SalesforceDX Namespace Registry Connected App appears to be Salesforce-created/managed rather than an application I created for my project.

I also found references to other users experiencing a similar missing required code challenge error during the namespace linking process.

Has anyone encountered this recently with Developer Edition / Dev Hub orgs?

Is there a known Salesforce-side issue with the Namespace Registry OAuth flow, or is there another configuration that needs to be changed to provide the required PKCE code_challenge?

I'm using this for a package namespace, so I need to get the namespace linked to the Dev Hub before I can proceed with packaging.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

    Same issue as above. I've created a case to get them to disable PKCE, and now it's probably with Marc Benioff's open claw setup that replaced their entire support team

Configure a Slack Agent in Salesforce Unable to complete

Unable to get course marked completed. 

 

I keep receiving this message:  

We see you're using the Agentforce org from the quick start. But it's not prepared for agent deployment into Slack. Complete the steps from the quick start to ensure you can set up the agent.

 

Einstein is turned ON 

Einstein Bots are turned ON 

Agentforce Agents are turned ON 

Product Management Agent is connected to SLACK 

Org is Connected to Slack 

Connected Apps OAuth has been installed. 

Agent is live and running in my test environment.  

 

PHOTOS ATTACHED!!! 

 

In Slack, my Agent is viewable and accessible. Org shows connected in Slack.

    You can create a formula field with a return type number and decimal places to 0. Use this formula
