Hi Trailblazer Community,
I’m having an issue with the system test for my Salesforce certification exam. Every time I try to run it, I receive the following message:
“You are not logged in.”
I’m accessing the system test using the
link and code that were sent to me by email a few days before the exam, so I believe I’m following the correct process. So far, I’ve already tried:- Using a different browser
- Using a different computer
- Opening the link again directly from the exam email
- Repeating the login/system test process several times
Unfortunately, I keep getting the same “You are not logged in”
error.
To clarify,
I’m not trying to access the actual exam yet. My concern is that the system test currently does not recognize me as logged in, and I’m worried that the same thing could happen on the exam day when I need to check in and launch the exam.
I’ve also read several posts on Reddit from people who experienced a similar issue. Some said that despite the system test failing, everything worked correctly on the day of the exam, while others reported that they still had login/access problems when it was time to take the exam.
That uncertainty is what concerns me.
Has anyone experienced this specific “You are not logged in” error during the system test recently? Did the exam-day check-in work correctly?
And, if anyone from Salesforce can confirm: if the system test cannot detect that I’m logged in now, is there any risk that the same issue will prevent me from checking in or launching my scheduled exam?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Hey María,
Since this isn't something the community can verify with certainty, and it directly affects a paid exam attempt, I'd treat this as a "log a case now, don't wait" situation:
- Contact Salesforce Certification Support directly (not just the community) well before your exam date, referencing the exact "You are not logged in" error and that you've already tried multiple browsers/computers
- Ask them explicitly to confirm your account/session is properly provisioned for exam day, this is the only way to get a real answer rather than anecdotal Reddit outcomes
- If you don't get resolution before your slot, consider requesting to reschedule rather than risk losing the attempt entirely, most testing sponsors allow this given advance notice
Given the mixed reports you've already found, I don't want to reassure you it'll be fine when I can't confirm that, this genuinely needs a real support case, not a community guess.
