Is anyone else having this issue? When I go to add a product to the quote (after already adding one previously), I cannot go back in and add another. The pricebook comes back up, I click "save" and nothing happens. The ONLY way I can add another product is if I hit "view all" and add from the product button there. It's never done this to me before. Seems like a glitch?

Not sure if this the right place to post this - please tag other groups if you know who else might be able to weigh in. I have enabled #Multi-column sort and the icon is available in the list views for many objects - standard and custom. But not for Products. Do we know why?

Hi there,

I have a flow where I have it cloaning an opportunity to create a new one but I would also like the flow to then add the same products that are on the original opportunity but the loop does not seem to be working. Is anyone able to advise? The flow is as follows:

I'm using Salesforce1 for opportunities. When I add products to my opportunity using the standard products related list and search for a product, the results are not in alphabetical order. Any idea why or how to make the search results default to alphabetical order?

Hi! Is there a way to set up restrictions based on product family?

For example, only my retail users can see the products in the Retail product family? Therefore, when they are adding products to their opportunity, they can only access the retail products.

I was just wondering whether it's possible if multiple products are added to an opportunity, for it to be displayed on 1 field on the Opportunity.

For example, if I have in the Opportunity Products section the products Apples and Oranges... if somewhere on the Opportunity we have a field which says "Apples, Oranges".

I'm not entirely sure where to start or if this is a formula (which I assume it will be) which one to use?

Any ideas?

I'm stumped and need some help. I'm trying to create a validation rule that requires the "Product Name" field on the "Product" object (not Opportunity Products) to be unique. When I try to create the rule I get a syntax error that the field doesn't exist. I'm probably missing something obvious.

Important as some of the products within that bundle are passive income and others are active - and so we need to track revenue accordingly.  Any ideas? Is this possible?

I head up the CRM team at my organisation and keen to tap into some Salesforce certifications and/or Salesforce University. 

In previous years, SF use to have a university section on TrailHead but it seems to be missing, so firstly wondering if SF have removed this segment completely?

As a Team Lead/Manager, I am wondering which TrailHead is best for me and my role? I want to understand the product capabilities, new features, be able to provide consultation to the business and have knowledge and expertise of the product between a beginner to intermediate range.

Any suggestions?

Hello. We have a 'Trade-In Discount' product that is added to quotes, where this negative amount is added to the product total.  This is a discount price and we want the 'Trade In' amount to show in our total discount. (So the customer understands the total amount they saved with their purchase)  Our total discount is (subtotal * discount ).

What formula is needed to include a specific product to our total discount?  I prefer the Product Hierarchy ID or Product ID #Formulas #Formula Field #Products #Quote Template #Quotes.    

Any assistance is appreciated.
