Hello Everyone,
I'm working on the Data Security > Control Access to Objects module and trying to complete the hands-on challenge.
The challenge requires creating a Manage Positions permission set and assigning permissions to the Position object. However, I can't find the Recruiting sample objects in any of my Trailhead Playgrounds.
I checked:
- Setup → Object Manager
- Permission Sets → Object Settings
- App Launcher
- Installed Packages
The following objects are missing:
- Position
- Candidate
- Job Application
- Review
Standard objects such as Account, Contact, and Case are available, but the Recruiting objects referenced throughout the module do not exist.
I have tried:
- Using my existing Salesforce Playground.
- Creating a brand-new Trailhead Playground.
- Verifying that I'm using the correct hands-on org.
Because the Position object is missing, I'm unable to create the Manage Positions permission set required for the challenge.
Has anyone encountered this issue recently? Is there a package that needs to be installed, or are there updated instructions for completing this challenge?
Thank you for your help.

9月11日 14:01 Hi, the Reviews object need to be created manually but rest of the objects will come after installing the package 04t0P000000N9rs
How to install a package via URL
As a System Admin, I am unable to login into our UAT and Config Sandboxes because of the recent security updates. As we prepared for the updates, we focused on the Production environment and didn't realize that the Sandboxes will be updated also.

Hi All,
When sending an email from Salesforce, hovering over a recipient in the To
field displays only the person's full name and not their email address.
Is there a way to configure Salesforce so that the recipient's email address is also visible when hovering over the name in the To field while composing or sending an email?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Please find the image below for a better understanding of my request.
Thank you in advance

9月11日 9:02 Hi @Roopa Sharma - It’s not possible through standard Salesforce configuration because the recipient hover tooltip in the Lightning Email Composer is part of Salesforce’s standard UI.
Salesforce doesn’t expose a setting or Email Action field configuration that lets an admin control what appears in that tooltip. You can configure the email fields such as To, CC, BCC, Subject, and Body, but not the content of the recipient hover popup.
So:
- Standard configuration: Not possible
- Flow: Cannot modify it
- Email Action settings: Cannot modify it
- Custom LWC: Possible, if you need the email address displayed on hover
The limitation is with the standard Lightning Email Composer UI, not with the Contact/Lead email field itself.
Hi all, I am studying for my admin certification. So far I am just about finished with Admin Intermediate. What else should I focus on to get through the certification exam
#Salesforce Admin #Certifications
9月11日 4:39 Hello @Peter Janusik
To pass the Salesforce Administrator certification, focus on completing the official Prepare for Your Salesforce Platform Administrator Certification Trailmix and earning the Object Relationships and Flow Administration Superbadges. Since you’ve finished Admin Intermediate, prioritize Data and Analytics Management (now the largest exam section at 17%) and Automation (15%), especially Flow Builder, validation rules, and approval processes.
Hi All!
I'm on the "Control Access to Fields" unit (
Force.comAdmin Intermediate trail, Data Security module), specifically the "Set Field Permissions for Multiple Permission Sets" step, which asks me to set field-level security on the Candidate object's Job Category field. That field doesn't exist anywhere in my org (confirmed via a global Setup search), and neither do several others the unit references — Apex, C#, Hire By, Hiring Manager, and the sensitive ID field mentioned in the unit text.
My Candidate object does exist, with fields like Current Employer, Currently Employed, Education, Years of Experience, Legacy Candidate Number, etc. — a completely different set from what the unit describes.
For context: earlier in this trail I ran into a separate issue where the Position/Candidate/Job Application/Review objects didn't exist at all, which I resolved by installing a package referenced in an earlier community thread. That got the base objects working, but it looks like this package doesn't include the custom fields (Job Category, Apex, C#, etc.) that this later unit assumes exist — I suspect those are meant to come from manually completing "Create Custom Recruiting Fields" in the "Build a Data Model for a Recruiting App" project.
Has anyone else run into this specific mismatch? Is completing that earlier project the right fix, or is there a different/updated package I should be using instead? Any guidance appreciated.
Thanks!

昨日、21:35 @Carolina Scarpa I am stuck here as well, and think that these were added from a previous unit that was not part of my trail. But I don't just want to randomly add them. Did you find the solution?
Salesforce Certified Administrator | Seeking Volunteer Opportunity
Hello Trailblazer Community!
My name is Tara, and I’m a Salesforce Certified Administrator and Double Star Ranger on Trailhead, based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
I’m looking for an opportunity to volunteer my Salesforce skills with a nonprofit organization. My goal is to contribute to a meaningful organization while gaining practical experience working with Salesforce in a real-world environment.
Through my Salesforce learning and hands-on projects, I have developed skills in Salesforce Administration, Security & Access Management, Data Management, Data Import/Export, Flow, Reports & Dashboards, and I also have knowledge of Lightning Web Components (LWC).
One of my main projects is the Student Success Management Portal, where I have applied Salesforce concepts to a practical student-support scenario.
In addition to Salesforce, I bring a strong background in education and administration, including experience as an Admissions Coordinator and many years of teaching experience. I enjoy organizing information, solving problems, supporting people, and learning new technology.
I’m especially interested in helping a nonprofit with Salesforce administration, data organization, reporting, automation, documentation, or user support. I’m open to starting with a small project and growing from there.
If you know of a nonprofit organization that could use a motivated Salesforce Administrator volunteer, I would be very grateful for a connection or referral.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I’m looking forward to connecting with other Trailblazers and finding an opportunity where I can contribute and continue learning.

Does anyone know where I might be able to find the IP address ranges for Marketing Cloud login and administration pages?
Our corporate VPN is split-tunnel, meaning not all traffic is routed through it. I need to get the marketing cloud traffic routing through it so that I have a predictable IP address to meet the new whitelisting requirements.
On login, I'm seeing
mc.exacttarget.com, mc.login.exacttarget.com, verify.salesforce.com and mc.s12.exacttarget.com(and I'm assuming that last one changes depending on region).
Thanks for any help!
#Salesforce Admin #Security
昨日、15:55 Salesforce publishes these in the Help article 'IP Addresses for Inclusion on Allowlists in Marketing Cloud Engagement' — the ranges are instance-specific and Salesforce changes them periodically, so pull the set for your instance and re-check it quarterly. On what you're seeing: the 's12' in
mc.s12.exacttarget.com is your Marketing Cloud stack (your provisioned instance) — it's fixed for your tenant, not region-varying, so the IPs you actually need are the ones mapped to that stack. Because those app/login IPs can shift, if your split-tunnel VPN supports FQDN/domain-based routing, targeting the *.exacttarget.com and verify.salesforce.com hostnames is far more durable than hardcoding IPs; if it can only match on IP, a quick Salesforce Support case will confirm the current ranges for your stack. if this helps, please mark it as the Best Answer so it helps the next person — thanks 🙂
