Here are some things that I have found has been working in my favor...
- Watching videos and going into the org at the same time
- Old school writing notes using lots of visuals like highlighting & rewriting (agh!)
- Watching different types of videos (David Massey, Caitlyn Nguyen, Focus on Force, etc.)
- Pomodorro
- Split screen
- Study Groups

I found that a combination of things worked really well. I went through the course I now teach (though it was a different format then), and having a guided learning experience helped keep me (mostly) on task. That said, the "not on task" was about "lateral learning." I went beyond the admin trailmix and sought out other relevant modules on similar topics. The hands on learning helped keep my attention (I'm still not a fan of Trailhead units with just a quiz). I also will tend to do modules before projects, as I can't handle "do this" without knowing WHY I'm doing that thing (a common neurodivergent issue haha). I also 100% boost taking your own notes (and even writing out something like an essay where you detail what you've learned) and study groups. Teaching the material to others is a great way to learn and I think leading a study group benefited me immensely when I was studying for my exam. The very best of luck to you @Yumi K!
