Hi there, at our organisation we have Recite Me configured on our main external sites. We would like to have it configured on our Experience Cloud site but I'm struggling and just wondered if anyone else had some experience with this? This is the guide (HTML (reciteme.com)) that I have been given but it feels like there are a few steps missing. I'm not sure where the Event listener script would go but have been able to add script to the Header and create or add a button with HTML.

I've had request we get this working on their website. I was going to use a LWC to put into the header. Did you ever get this working? Did Recite me ever make the required updates to get it to work?

Good evening everyone.  Can anyone point me to an article or post that details the types of accommodations salesforce provides during test taking?  I have seen the articles about time accommodations and the potential for other types (with a doctor's note), but cannot find anything to read that details the types of accommodations that are in the realm of the possible.  I have trouble with detail and memory recall as a result of brain related injuries, and I am concerned that the types of accommodations that would be helpful for me are completely counter to the testing rules.  Thank you.

Hello @Hortência Farias - If you encounter any issues with your Salesforce certification accommodations, the best thing to do is to open a Trailhead case and our Certification Accommodation team can assist you!

Hi everyone,  Wondering if anyone has experience using #dragon naturally speaking speech recognition software with salesforce lightning? We are having some difficulties with some elements like checkboxes and radio buttons and wondered if any Dragon users has some pro tips or hacks?  Alternatively, are any speech recognitions software you have found that works well with Salesforce?  Thank you Rebecca

    Hey @Matthew Putland

I have a user with this same need and wonder if you might be open to sharing some wisdom on how your script works? I'm available for a call most any time. I'll DM you too.

    Thanks!

Hi all,

I recently started a new job and we use Salesforce Lightning version. I'm in a customer service role and need to be able to quickly find specific cases, users, accounts, and other information. I'm having a difficult time learning the navigation because there's so much to go through. I use JAWS and consider myself a seasoned user, but I find JAWS getting stuck in panels, jumping over pieces of information, and it takes a long time to find the stuff I need. Many large tools like this have a commands list (Ctrl + / for example) and or accessibility mode features. I can't find a list of commands anywhere, and I know that the classic Salesforce version had an accessibility mode but Lightning does not. Navigating with standard JAWS keychords/nav keys is tedious, frustrating, and takes forever. Any help is appreciated!

Emily, I was wondering if you found a quicker solution to navigating cases? I read your post and I could not believe that it sounded like it was coming from myself. I tried to reach out to you and send you a private message but it did not go through. Would love to connect!

I need some help finding where to start learning VLOOKUP using Jaws screen reader. quick keys, knowing how to call / reference other worksheets in the formula, and some general guidance.

Hi, @Luke Husfloen. If you have the basic Excel knowledge, it's just learning the format of the formula, which you can find in a lot of tutorials that give you the explanation in text. If you need to learn Excel with a screen reader, Freedom Scientific has a free webinar on their site (https://www.freedomscientific.com/webinars/microsoft-excel-with-jaws-webinar/).

Microsoft's documentation on VLOOKUP is pretty good. It puts the formula into "words" so you can understand it in all it's parts (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/vlookup-function-0bbc8083-26fe-4963-8ab8-93a18ad188a1).

The only tricky thing to deal with is if you are selecting cells from another tab or another sheet, and in that case I would just tell you in that other sheet or tab, make sure your cursor is at the start of where you want to select for your VLOOKUP before you begin. Then you aren't fumbling around with it.

    Hi all

Thanks so much for taking the time and respond.

So far I explored the Microsoft built in functions and will look further.

Great info on JAWS, I didn't know about the free trial restart and didn't even look when I saw it's paid. At this time I am interested to see what's around from a data entry perspective for a project I am working on.

I am checking NVDA website, thanks all for pointing me in the right direction.

    Warm wishes Jitka

I really wish Trailhead would make content accessible. There is still no audio playback for the trails and that is how I learn most effectively as a special needs individual. It also took me forever to get to this page from the Trailhead mobile app when I click leave feedback. It should go right to the field since I am already signed in on Trailhead.

For Trailhead in particular, I have found that Microsoft Edge's native text-to-speech reader works pretty well. It is able to properly navigate the layout of Trailhead, unlike some text-to-speech programs. You can also select a voice and speed that works for you. Chrome has a native one that I have found to be particularly problematic. It cannot navigate the page properly and gets stuck on the navigation pane.

Our kids went through the UK school system and then we moved to California.  The difference was stark. The US system embraced their "differences" and helped them thrive.

Hello everyone. I am totally blind, and I am having issues with creating reports. This part of the salesforce platform doesn't seem to be accessible for someone who is blind using a screen reader. I've been able to access everything else on my own on this platform, but this seems to be the only difficulty I am having. I am currently stuck in two trails because of the inaccessibility of creating reports. There doesn't seem to be a screen reader friendly tutorial available option when it comes to dealing with reports. I am currently working on building an app for a project which requires me to create and run a report.

For reference, I am using the screen reader NVDA. Is anyone here familiar with this issue, or can someone point me in the right direction to a group where I can get some assistance? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Of course.

    1. Once in your Salesforce org, go to the app launcher and type Analytics; it should be the only option.

    2. Once it is up, go to the "create button submenu" then find "report" and press enter. A new popup will appear to create the new report.

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you.

    Christina
