I dunno if this one have ever been asked/posted here before, but it's Friday and it's snowing here,so what the hell...

Q: If there really was a Bar, Tavern, or "Public House" for you cross-the-pond'ers. Where Admins, Devs, and Consultants could go and vent, commiserate, or just drown their Salesforce sorrows, what would the appropriate name for this Watering Hole be?

Like your SFDC Admin buddy calls you and says: "They want me to enable Quick-Create!"

You just sigh, and tell them "You need a drink, meet me at ________ in 20 minutes"

Aaaaand GO!!!

I have heard a lot about the power of one in the couple of years I've been working with Salesforce but have never really looked at it properly before. Thank you @Steve Molis for opening my eyes!

Thanks @Dale Ziegler for helping to spread the word on @Midwest Dreamin'...it's July 9th and 10th at Chicago's Navy Pier, and we should be ready to open up the call for stories very soon, and the registration site will follow shortly thereafter. What's Midwest Dreamin? Think of it as the combination of the networking opportunities you get at a user group meeting along with the education you get at Dreamforce, all wrapped up into (just over) one day. Opening Reception and networking in our expo hall the afternoon of July 9th with all the "meat" of the conference on July 10th. Dan Darcy will kick things of as he delivers what I'm sure will be a memorable opening keynote, and to wind us down, Peter Coffee will provide the closing keynote address. Anyone think it might be beneficial for Solo Admins to have a Chatter group up here? I realize that there are posts all over the place in a variety of groups that benefit us SoAds (got tired of typing the whole Solo Admin thing). But, having a go-to-place for these resources and new conversations might benefit us. Or, is just having the topic adequate? Just a thought. @Eanna Cunnane @Jennifer Shier @Dale Ziegler
