ASEAN Developer Challenge

A place for the participants of the challenge to ask questions, get answers and be guided along their journey.

Have you already encountered this in your terminal?

I copied (git clone https://github.com/trailheadapps/build-apps-with-lwc.git) and pasted it on my terminal but an error message showed up . . .

xcrun: error: invalid active developer path (/Library/Developer/CommandLineTools), missing xcrun at: /Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/usr/bin/xcrun

How did you solve it? Please Help. TIA

    Hi,

You can solve it by running the following command and installing xcode.

    xcode-select --install

I'm always open to interesting suggestions like this. But better to start the search for a job by writing a quality resume. After all, success in employment and obtaining the desired position may depend on this. I was recently looking for a job and this source helped me a lot with this https://uk.careersbooster.com/career-change-cv/ Thanks to it, I prepared properly and got the position I wanted.

Hi Salesforce/Trailhead Team,  I have two email ids, both are connected to single Trailhead account. I registered for challenge with one email id and normally I use other email id to login to trailhead. Hope that is fine. can you please confirm if there's no issue due to this?

I just completed all three trails.

I have two email ids.

Me too. I have only 1 account, just logged in using google account... Also shared my profile info, connected emails, and my badges... Actually I have only 1 individual account as per the program terms & conditions. Could you please advise, @Vishwa Vikas Dagala & team.

    Thank you.

Hi , I have completed all the steps in the "Create a Custom Candidate Record Page" , but I get this error when verify Step :

not yet complete in My Trailhead Playground 2

There was an unexpected error while verifying this challenge. Usually this is due to some pre-existing configuration or code in the challenge Org. We recommend using a new Developer Edition (DE) to check this challenge.

Even I create a new playground, Im still gettin this error

When modifying the page layouts for Position Object as part of creating a custom junction object in Trailmix 1, it is mentioned that the following fields should be added in the setting

  • Job Posting Site: Status
  • Job Posting Site: Technical Site

and the Job Posting: Job Posting Number should be removed. I am able to do so and then the step is asking to click on the OK  button. I am not able to find the button on my playground and thus I am not able to save my changes. Is there any way to resolve this issue?

I am already doing this part, Create Additional Formulas where I am supposed to paste the formula, ( VALUE(TEXT(Core_Competencies__c)) + VALUE(TEXT(Experience__c)) + VALUE(TEXT(Leadership_Skills__c)) + IF( Recommend_for_Hire__c , 5, 0) ) / 4

However, when I run syntax, i get this error message -- Error: Incorrect parameter type for function 'TEXT()'. Expected Number, Date, DateTime, Picklist, received Text #Trailhead

Thanks!

Please make sure all the below fields are picklist fields.  Core_Competencies__c

    Experience__c

    Leadership_Skills__c

From the error message it seems at least one of the field is not picklist hence the error.

Hi! I'm getting this error in the Communicate with Components Across an App module of Build a Bear-Tracking App with Lightning Web Components

https://trailhead.salesforce.com/content/learn/projects/lwc-build-flexible-apps/inter-comp-events  LWC1512: Missing resource value for @salesforce/messagechannel/BearListUpdate__c (2:37)  I'm very sure it's not syntax or reference other type of error, and I'm unable to figure out where to debug BearListUpdate__c. also tried redeploying the repo.

    Hi @Joal Rose Lin

I am from the Trailhead help team. We see that you were able to complete Build a Bear-Tracking App with Lightning Web Components badge. Could you please post the resolution that helped you resolved this issue here? So that it can help other Trailblazers. If the above response helped you resolve the issue, please mark the same as the best answer.

    Thanks, Aishwarya

Specifically, I am doing these steps:

Next add a Create Records element to the flow.

Drag the Create Records element from the palette onto the flow window.

For Label enter createReview, and let the API name default.

For How Many Records to Create, select one.

For How to Set the Record Fields select Use separate resources, and literal values.

For Object select Review.

However, there is no Review options in Object.  How can I have a Review option in Object? Thanks!

    Hey ,

Make sure that review object in present in the org.

If it's not, then you have to create the object first, then it would be visible.

Please mark as Best Answer if it helped to close the thread!
