A major breakthrough means that can now use GPT to auto-generate UPN process maps.  It is so fast and draws maps that follow the UPN format.  It is ideal when you are stuck with a blank sheet, or new to UPN. But you need to think about the quality and completeness of the input - the prompt. This could be an interview transcript, a procedure or an image of a process.

Before you all panic, GPT is not going to replace the questioning and analysis skills of a BA (yet). There is so much background industry, process and organizational knowledge that a good BA brings. So there is balance between how detailed you make the prompt and the quality of the generated map, that is never going to the final result, but it will be a fantastic first draft.
