So Many Releases...How do I keep up?

With three major releases each year, the Force.com platform provides customers with well over 500 new features to take advantage of every year. But incorporating these new features into your own release cycles, along with plans for your own custom development, can leave you lagging further and further behind. Here you can find strategies to use to help streamline the process, and the tools and methods used to identify, review, and manage new feature deployment and adoption.

It is always recommended to upgrade api to latest one so that your org is up to date. Also on retirement of process builder and WF, your existing components will still work its that salesforce will not support any of them in case you get an issue also you will not be able to write new one

@Brad Hudak @Ryan Klein Is an excel / matrix still created for each release?  They were super helpful when I'd review with my Team.  The digestible format was very helpful in identifying new cutting edge features!

Has anyone tried "Flosum - Release Management for Salesforce" app from AppExchange? We are evaluating it right now - it looks promising, but all 59 reviews are stellar and that is quite suspicious. Any feedback? Thanks!

Our Salesforce Account team just shared the Winter '18 release highlights. Any update when we can expect to see the FEO version? Thanks as always. We find the feature matrix very valuable. @Adam Jones
