Getting Things Done (GTD)

A group resurrected from the ashes of the Dreamforce portal where we will share tips, tricks, thoughts and ideas on Getting Things Done the productivity methodology by David Allen. In this group we will also discuss and collaborate on best practices around practicing GTD with or in Salesforce in terms of managing tasks, calls, follow ups, events and anything else.

I purchased Getting Things Done by David Allen on October 11th, 2004.

Here are some of the lessons I have learned on my two decades of journey with GTD.

If you are a fan of GTD for Teens, I just bought and read Doing to Done which is from the same author. It is a very quick read at under 2 hours but is new fresh way of seeing and thinking about the methodology.

I spoke to the author a few weeks ago and he has a good roadmap. #GTD

I listened to your podcast a year or two ago about your Summit experience. It sounded like a great event with great speakers and well organized. Almost went but decided against it.

Anyone else excited for the briefly mentioned, at least to non-Connect members, upcoming GTD for Teams book?

From what was mentioned in the public podcast, it will be interesting to see how Agile is meshed with GTD with David’s, and likely others, take on it.

That would be very cool. We @Arkus, Inc. are a 100% GTD shop, train on it, talk about it, use it every single day so it would be cool to see what they say.
