@Ranajit Paul - The error "You don't have any zip files to import Knowledge Articles under your Salesforce Org" should not appear on the login page. This is a Data Management import tool error, not a login error, and its appearance during login suggests a misconfiguration, custom login flow, or a bug in a managed package or custom Visualforce/Lightning component

    Recommended Actions

    1. Check Custom Login Flows: Review any custom login pages, flows, or SSO configurations that might execute Apex or Visualforce logic.
    2. Inspect Custom Code: Look for triggers, controllers, or scripts that reference Knowledge objects or import utilities during user authentication.
    3. Review Debug Logs: Enable debug logs for a login attempt to trace where the error originates.
    4. Contact Salesforce Support: If no custom code is involved, this may be a platform bug requiring support intervention.

Anyone still using this?  Was working 2 weeks ago and it stopped working this week.

We have api 28 enabled so that's not the problem.  Just wondering if there are others impacted and to understand if there are alternatives.

My guess is that it broke when the APIs 21.0 through 30.0 retired.  If you look one post below this you'll see mine asking if this will be upgraded.  I never got a response.  I've unfortunately never found an alternative.

Hello -

I discovered today that this app uses APIs that Salesforce is retiring with the Summer 25 release.  Will it be upgraded?  We still need it and have no other way to export knowledge articles.

@Devra Struzenberg @Leon Kempers

Thank you!

@Prasad Reddy Bhimavarapu yes I understand that Salesforce is retiring those APIs.  I was speaking about this Heroku app specifically, which is provided by Salesforce Labs but not maintained.

Hi,

Is this https://kbapps-1b0d72f037e5.herokuapp.com/ app developed and supported officially by Salesforce? Is it safe and secure to be used in production environments?

Thanks!

If you update a field, article will become draft again and you have to publish again. I think not possible via the tool. You have to go for some custom solution

We've exported Knowledge articles from the Heroku App, and within the export file, the data includes subfolders containing images in HTML format. These images require access to the org (from which we took extract) to be viewed. Consequently, when attempting to import the articles into Salesforce, we encounter a file path error. Specifically, the error message indicates an invalid file path for the images within a Rich Text Area field. It prompts us to ensure that the field contains a valid graphic.

When we try to open images, it will open in salesforce.

I'm using the heroku app to try to export the articles but I can't seem to login. I keep getting a login error even using the password/security token combo. I tried adding a + between the password and security token as well

I am exporting Heroku connector and importing document to Salesforce using Salesforce import. When I tried to import documents, there are multiple issues. Heroku export creates import.properties and Salesrforce job abort the process. When I checked Salesforce documentation then I converted file to content.properties to move ahead.

But I notice that image file downloaded are not images but html files with some script pointing to source.

Can some one help me to export the Articles with images and migrate to another org. It seems this tool does not work? Please help!
