Hello Salesforce Community,
We are looking for a supported solution to remove the additional Community Domain entry screen
that users encounter when accessing our Salesforce mobile application.
Our requirement is to provide a seamless login experience without asking users to manually enter the Community Domain before proceeding to authentication.
We have explored the available options but have not yet identified a supported way to bypass this screen or automatically redirect users to the appropriate Community login page.
Our questions are:
- Is there a Salesforce-supported configuration or authentication mechanism to bypass the Community Domain entry screen?
- Can the Community Domain be preconfigured or passed programmatically so that users are redirected directly to the appropriate login page?
- Are there any supported alternatives, such as custom authentication flows, deep links, or other mobile app configurations, that can achieve this?
- Are there any limitations or considerations specific to Salesforce Mobile SDK or Experience Cloud authentication that we should be aware of?
This is currently a critical blocker for our implementation
, and we would appreciate guidance on the recommended, Salesforce-supported approach.

Try this, set up and deploy Salesforce My Domain with customized login branding, which allows users to authenticate directly through your corporate identity provider or login screen without manually typing your community domain. Verify success by launching the Salesforce Mobile App on a test device and confirming it immediately presents your custom login page instead of prompting for a community domain.
Next, configure SAML or OpenID Connect Single Sign-On (SSO) via a Connected App, enabling mobile users to authenticate seamlessly through your organization's central identity provider. Verify this is working by attempting a login with a test user account to ensure it authenticates through your IdP without intermediate routing screens.
Then, utilize deep linking by distributing direct URLs that pass your My Domain parameters programmatically when launching the Salesforce Mobile App. Verify success by opening the deep link on a mobile device and ensuring it launches the app pre-configured to your correct environment.
