First, I can't believe this idea is less than 6 years old. It might seem like a very simple and basic feature, and while Salesforce lookups in general work very well, the search experience still has room for improvement.
This Salesforce IdeaExchange idea highlights a frustrating limitation: when working with lookup fields, users don't always have an easy way to see and search the full set of available records. Salesforce does provide advanced lookup search across searchable fields, but the experience can still feel restrictive when you simply want to browse, filter, and find the right record.
Looking for support and advice from this group on how we can bring this idea in front of the right audience and, hopefully, get it back on the roadmap.
