Hello Trailblazers,

I'm currently trying to learn Salesforce Health Cloud, but I'm finding it challenging to get enough hands-on practice.

While Trailhead provides a good introduction, I haven't been able to find comprehensive learning resources that cover Health Cloud in depth. There are only a few YouTube videos available, and the official documentation is quite fragmented, making it difficult to understand real-world implementation and gain practical experience.

Could anyone please recommend:

  •  Hands-on practice resources or sample projects for Health Cloud
  •  Comprehensive tutorials, courses, or YouTube channels
  •  Good documentation, blogs, or GitHub repositories
  •  Any tips on how to gain practical experience with Health Cloud features and data model

I'd really appreciate any guidance or resources that helped you learn Health Cloud effectively.

Thank you in advance for your support!

    Hi Khushi,

Having worked on a few Health Cloud implementations, my advice is to start with the data model

first and understand the use case,  everything else builds on it.

    Key areas to focus on:

    • Patients (Person Accounts / Patient 360)
    • HCPs & Care Teams (Healthcare Providers -> Doctor , Nurse, Facilities -> Hospital, Clinics)
    • Clinical Data (Encounters, Conditions, Medications, Medication Requests)
    • Care Programs & Care Plans
    • Caregivers & Care Team Members
    • Adverse Events (especially if you're working in Life Sciences / Patient Services)

    Best starting resources:

For hands-on learning, try mapping out this patient journey end-to-end:

Patient → Caregiver → HCP → Clinical Encounter → Care Program → Adverse Event

This single exercise will clarify how this work and how all the objects connect better than any documentation did for me.

Happy to answer any specific questions if you get stuck. Feel free to reach out🙂
