Here's the recap -
Q: How to report on files - is there ANY WAY
A: Reporting on Files in Salesforce is possible, but it’s not straightforward and typically requires a multi-step approach.
A helpful starting point is this Trailblazer Community thread:
https://trailhead.salesforce.com/trailblazer-community/feed/0D54V00007X6LO4SAN
To expand visibility beyond files you own, enabling the “Query All Files” permission is key.
This allows you to use reporting or SOQL to access a broader set of files:

From there, tools like Salesforce Inspector Reloaded can be extremely useful for querying and exporting file data in a more flexible way.
Additionally, external tools like
salesforcefilemanager.com may provide helpful functionality depending on your use case. In general there’s no simple out-of-the-box reporting solution for Files, but with the right permissions, queries, and tools, you can piece together a workable approach.
Q: I’m trying to get a better understanding of the Screen Template Name field that is available in Gift Batches in NonProfit Cloud. It’s a picklist field on the Gift Batch object and the help text leads me to believe that I can use it to customize what fields display during gift entry. I can add a value to the picklist, but I can’t find a way to connect that Screen Template Name to what fields display during gift entry.
A:
The Screen Template Name field on the Gift Batch object in Nonprofit Cloud is intended to influence which fields display during gift entry but out of the box, it does not actually control any behavior.
There is currently no standard configuration that connects this picklist to dynamic field layouts or gift entry screens. In practice, the gift entry experience is typically driven by Lightning components or Flow, not this field.
If you want to use Screen Template Name as intended, you would need to build that logic yourself most commonly by creating a Screen Flow that reads the selected value and conditionally displays different fields or sections.
This field functions more like a placeholder unless you intentionally design and implement how it should be used.
Q: NPSP no new functionality (legacy) and NPPatch is a community extension pack for help clients stay on NPSP vs AgentForce Nonprofit Cloud. I'm working on the NPPatch project to get more information about that path vs AgentForce nonprofit cloud. Any thoughts on where to help educate nonprofits on the two paths?
A:
First, an important clarification - NPSP is
not end-of-life. It's still fully supported, just no longer receiving significant new innovation. Many organizations will continue using it for the foreseeable future, particularly those not yet ready for a major transition.
At a high level, nonprofits are navigating two broad paths:
- Stay & Optimize - Continue with NPSP, which remains stable and supported for organizations that don't need the latest innovations right now.
- Transform & Rebuild - Move to (or start fresh with!) Agentforce Nonprofit (formerly Nonprofit Cloud), which offers a new data model and enables long-term innovation including AI, automation, and greater scalability, but requires meaningful investment in time, budget, and change management.
The best place to start educating nonprofits is by helping them understand their own readiness - technical, financial, and organizational - before evaluating any path.

The ecosystem is still in a transition phase, and both paths are valid—it ultimately depends on each organization’s readiness, resources, and long-term goals.
Thanks for sharing the recap @Natalie Larino, and thanks to our hosts/panelists Rob, Ali and Danny, woo! Until next month :)
