So we don't have Marketing Cloud, and we typically use HubSpot for marketing campaigns. However, our sales team likes to send mass emails via Salesforce to their book of business, and those emails do not contain an unsubscribe link. I feel like it's a weird grey area, and there is a lot of discourse in the office as to whether or not the link is needed. I would think mass email sends would need the link no matter what. Does anyone else have this issue? Are you guys creating restrictions for your teams in this instance to only send mass emails through your marketing platform and then non-commercial/ 1-to-1 emails only through Salesforce? I am at a loss at this point trying to figure out what is the best practice.

@Christina Garcia It is a recommended and safe practice to include the unsubscribe link in the email if it a bulk send, to avoid negative impact on deliverability or sender reputation. As a rule of thumb - any email that is not transactional in nature should contain an "unsubscribe" link.
