Please refer to the first attachment.
An image(s) is uploaded to SFDC and placed into the Sign up Confirmation Appendix (API field name= Thank_you_Appendix__c) field on a Volunteer Job record as seen in the attachment.
That merge field is then referenced in an Email Lightning template, see hilited area field in second attachment.
Then when an automation sends the Email Lightning template the uploaded images are rendered as broken links, see the third attachment. The text within the merge fields renders properly but the image does not render.
I have tried uploading the images as Documents (using Salesforce Classic) and directly uploading them from my laptop. In each situation the images are rendered as broken links in emails.
The two hilited images will change from Job to Job so I am unable to place the images as static content in the lightning email template. I need the ability for those images to vary from Job to Job.
What is the proper way to upload images to the Volulnteer Job record so they will render in email?
