How to get the number of opportunities in the pipeline last year

I'm trying to make a report showing the value and quantity of opportunities we had open last year. The objective of this number would be to analyze the evolution of the pipeline.

I'm trying to use the Opportunity Trends Report, but I can't get it to work.
