I have a permission set that works for one person and not the other. The permission set it to allow users to create quotes with discounts on them. However, it is working for one and not the other. When one creates a quote with discounts on the QLI they don't appear on the quote. The only thing I can think of is maybe this is something to do with role hierarchy? The one it's not working for is from a different team but also doing sales. His manager is not with sales at all. He's also in a different country if that is important.

I'd double-check a few things:
- Make sure the user has field level visibility for the discount field on the perm set.
- Ensure they are assigned to the correct page layout displaying the discount field.
- if applicable, check record-type assignments.
If the second user was not able to see the quote record altogether, I would suspect it to be role hierarchy, but since they can both see the record, I suppose it could be something else.
