In my opinion you should not worry about certificate now, your main focus is should be on learning salesforce specially configuration part. Focus on salesforce admin part first , this will give you good idea on salesforce configuration. After this based on career path you can decide which way you want to go , either developer, BA or consultant role
you should start with the Admin Certification. My opinion for the newbees is always ADM201 to get the understanding of the platform and system.

Once you are familiar with the system then make your way if you aspire to be a sfdc developer then go for Platform developer. If interested in administration or business analysis and no coding then go for Admin, business analyst career path. Salesforce recently launched salesforce associate certificate for those who has very little knowledge on salesforce.
