Hi Trailblazers,

 

In topics what is the purpose of enabled for content with topics? What difference does it make if the box is ticked or not? I have read the Salesforce help articles but I am not sure that I am unclear about the implications. If a topic was just marked as navigational what would the impact be?

    @Kevin Partington I hope you know topics can be tagged to an article for content organization purpose. If you want to use the topic for some other kind of content, other than knowledge article you will have to enable it. 

     

    Now where?

    If you see below native content is available in three forms

    1. one which is shared by content admin 
    2. second you can connect with other Salesforce CRM
    3. Third is CMS connect which is used to connect with other CMS like wordpress. I hope you know topics can be tagged to an article for content organization purpose.So the native content comes from all the above sources. If you would like to tag those content you need to select 'enabled for content' and that topic will be available there.
