Hello Trailblazers,
What is the expected behaviour of the breadcrumb component on the article detail page?
Example:
I have a parent data category called Batteries. I have child categories for Batteries such as Long Lasting/Short Lasting/Rechargeable/Multi Packs.
I have automatic topic assignment set up for my experience cloud site. Some knowledge articles are tagged with more than one topic EG Long Lasting and Rechargeable.
The articles appear under each topic on my site as expected.
I am using the breadcrumb component in the site. It works as expected on the topic detail page. For example, if I am in the sub topic of Rechargeable I see a breadcrumb for batteries.
On the article detail there seem to be some inconsistencies when an article is tagged to multiple topics.
Example: Article tagged with the topics of Long Lasting and Rechargeable. Under the sub topic of Long Lasting I see Batteries>Long Lasting which is fine. Under Rechargeable I see Batteries>Long Lasting. Shouldn't this be Batteries>Rechargeable?
There are also other instance which just have Batteries in the breadcrumb? I am using {!urlname} in the breadcrumb on article detail.
Any advice around expected behaviour would be much appreciated

that is a known problem with breadumbs with multiple topics. that is why many companies don't display breadcrumbs.
