Hello, it looks like we are not able to disable the Step assignment notification and replace with a custom notification.

Is there any way to at least change the notification Sender and Email template? Our Orchestration would be customer facing and Salesforce branded notifications will not work for us.

Edit: Adding SF Idea that was mentioned by Tom Bassett below.

Thank you

Hi Tom, thanks for the follow up, we have not had a chance to test out your suggested workaround. Given the current Orchestrator limitations, we decided against implementing for now. I'll certainly share my thoughts once we're able to get around to testing.

My email sender was an org wide email address in my rough test.

In theory, if you left the process automation settings as they are by default, this would stop the system from issuing these types of automated emails.

You could then use this situation to your advantage to build your own version of these emails using custom email templates.

However this may impact other functionality that uses the same setup

We are looking to adopt Orchestration for Rapido Cloud.

This simple issue is a showstopper and hinders us from adopting the whole feature.

Did you manage to try the solution in my last comment?

Hi @Tom Bassett, thanks for looking into this.

Your first post (now deleted) was actually helpful as this is more in line with what we're after.

I don't think SF's help article around email personalization is talking about the same thing - and as you rightly pointed out, it fails to point to explain what personalization actually means.

Based on your POC, who was the notification sender?

I have done a *rough* POC for this in my own Developer Org and this is how the emails come out 'natively' with no adjustment.

Subject: You have an assigned work item from account

I have done a *rough* POC for this in my own Developer Org and this is how the emails come out 'natively' with no adjustment.---

The item I've redacted is my username in this case, so at least this is confirmation the email doesn't have any 'whiff' of Salesforce branding or terminology.

In my case the 'site' is called Account.

I've deleted my other comment as have since found this in the Help Docs about Credentialed Experience Cloud Users

'Personalized email notification with a link to the related record page of the oldest live Experience Cloud site that they’re a member of'

What the documentation fails to mention is what it actually means by Personalized.

Have you actually tried this as a rough POC?
