We are looking to use V4S and also considering PMM. If I'm not mistaken there was a discussion not too long ago about replacing V4F. I have not seen any recently new features for V4F and also V4F is not leveraging all the new standards that Salesforce is using.
Does anyone know if there is a sunset date for V4F or what the plans are for the future? As far as they are known of course. Thank you!
To @Elizabeth Smith's question - V4S does allow for Volunteer Hours records that aren't attached to shifts, and that can be a good option if you just want to track service and such. However, the web signup pages are built around the shift lookup, so it would mean manual updates (or custom setup).
Your budget will be a big deciding factor in volunteer tools. I haven't heard of any beyond V4S that are free, and that becomes a big deciding factor for many organizations.
