The challenge specified two fields to be created, radius and height on the Opportunity object. I copied and pasted the names when I created these fields. I created the Cylinder Volume formula field with said name on the Opportunity object.
My formula is: ROUND((3.14159 * (radius__c^2) * height__c),0). Not even using ...(radius__c * radius__c)... works. The Syntax check always come back with no problems, No syntax errors in merge fields or functions. (Compiled size: 126 characters), for either way I do the formula. I have also turned off all "Validation Rules" on the Opportuntiy object.
I get this error message when I check the challenge:
The Opportunity object does not contain the correct formula fields per the requirements. Tip: check for typos in the field names.
These are the fields when I use the "Insert Field" button in the "Advanced Formula Editor": radius__c height__c
Both of the radius and height fields in "Fields & Relationships" show the type as number and API name respectively as: radius__c height__c. The label and names are: radius and height.
The custom Formula Field label, name and API are: Cylinder Volume, Cylinder_Volume. Cylinder_Volume__c. The type is formula with 0 decimal places.

It mysteriously passed by putting * 3.14159 after height__c. When I put it back where I had it, it passes.
There isn't a difference logically. Programmatically there might be a huge differenct because Salesforce doesn't logic like any other language I've used. For example, in python its 'a and b'. In Salesforce its AND(a,b).
That's just my guess.
