I am trying to generate the document using docgen, without using any data mapper. I want to show horizontally repeating rows instead of vertical repeating rows. For example, if my data is like following -
1. Product 1 - 25000
2. Product 2 - 30000
3. Product 3 - 32000
so instead of showing it like -
Product 1 | 25000
Product 2 | 30000
Product 3 | 32000
i want to display like in a table-
Product 1 | Product 2 | Product 3
25000 | 30000 | 32000
can we achieve this? or not?

Great update! Excel is still a common format for many business teams, so having this capability directly in Salesforce will be valuable for a lot of use cases.
Working with a client who wants to set the thank you letter on the gift itself, and then dynamically generate the right document when running a document generation batch.
Has anyone worked with the document generation processes on something like this before? Do custom batch jobs require both Apex and OmniStudio? Has anyone been able to create a custom solution in Flow?

you don't need OmniStudio or custom Apex for this. A scheduled Flow can pick the right template per gift and generate the documents in batch on its own.

My organization is currently using Conga Composer to generate our acknowledgement letters. We're looking for alternative apps that will automate document generation as well as merge data from anywhere into any template and populate documents with data from any system of record while sending and saving as needed. I can't for the life of me figure this out. In the recent Summer 24 release of Nonprofit Cloud, we have the ability to generate gift receipts and acknowledgements out of the box. The steps to use are outlined in this help doc: https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sfdo.NPC_FR_Gift_Acknowledgments_and_Tax_Receipts.htm&type=5
However...I'd added the Generate Document button to my account pages and it doesn't show up no matter what I do. I'm a system admin and have all Fundraising, DocGen, and Omnistudio permission sets assigned to myself. Has anyone been seeing this same issue or have any guidance?
@Chris Miller - It's a bug in how the button visibility is coded. You have to be a direct member of the file library. Can't be just a group member with access, even though that's what the docs say and that's how the rest of DocGen works for all other uses. There is a bug in the button code for controlling visibility on it. They are logging a KI for it. I just got off the case call for it where we tracked it down.
So add yourself as a direct member to the File Library, not via a group membership for a workaround until it's fixed.
Has anyone tried adding custom LWC onto the document builder ?
I tried to do so, somehow my component doesn't show up in the builder to drag and drop. I have tried all the targets in the meta xml file.
Any help is appreciable.
