✴️  This week’s #TuesdayTips to help you with your #Email Integration is #Email To Case âś´ď¸Ź

Start by watching the Email Integration Circle of Success on demand: https://salesforce.vidyard.com/watch/uCvEENX2494MLkPXSQrJFS

Efficiently manage incoming and outgoing emails with customers who need support.  Automatically convert email to cases, and when logged as a case, view, track, and report on inbound and outbound emails by case.

Email and Calendar Integration in the Salesforce Sales Cloud doesn’t automatically include Email-to-Case. Email-to-Case requires Salesforce Service Cloud downloading the Email-to-Case Agent.

Does anyone have advice for email integration?  I have G Suite for email but use Outlook desktop client.  I don't see how the Gmail integration or the Outlook integration works for this combination.  Thank you in advance!

Hi @Elizabeth Hardman! I'm not sure if you're familiar with our Accelerator Library at all, but depending on your Support Plan, we do offer 1:1 guidance to help you configure either integration. We have Accelerators on both Gmail and Outlook so my guess is it depends on which one you'd want to sync with your calendar. Here's the link to the catalog: https://www.salesforce.com/content/dam/web/en_us/www/documents/accelerators/accelerator-library.pdf

Calling all Inbox fans using Gmail! Have you ever wanted to log events to records, right from your Google Calendar? Found yourself wishing you could edit a Salesforce record right from the side panel? Wouldn’t you like it if Inbox knew that you’d already logged something? Have you ever dreamt that Inbox could show you a smarter set of matched records?

If so, you're in luck – all of the above and much more is available today in the all-new Inbox that’s part of our Spring ’19 release (

http://releasenotes.docs.salesforce.com/en-us/spring19/release-notes/rn_sales_gmail_integration_name.htm

). You'll get the benefits of the base integration's enhanced Salesforce platform functionality, as well as the Inbox premium features you've come to know and love.

How do you get access to the wonders of this new Inbox? If you're a Salesforce admin, follow these simple instructions:

https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=lightning_for_gmail_setup_inbox_move_from_inbox.htm&type=5 to grant your users access. If you're a user, ask your admin about enabling the new, improved experience. You'll need to remove the "Salesforce Inbox" Chrome extension from your browser and install the new "Salesforce" Chrome extension: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/salesforce/jjghhkepijgakdammjldcbnjehfkfmha

.

There are plenty of helpful resources, trainings, and materials in the group description, as well as links to log a case if you have any issues. Enjoy the new Gmail integration with Inbox!

@Kaede Holland I found this frustrating also, until I understood the distinction. You actually are not logging those emails to Salesforce unless you physically go through the motions to log an email. This is what we opted to do. We turned off EAC (because it's just a feed), and we now manually log important emails via SF Inbox.

Can anyone tell me how to import a list from Salesforce into Pardot for emailing?

@Eric MacDougall Add contacts from Salesforce into a campaign in Salesforce, add campaign members to Pardot using the "add to Pardot List" button at the top of the campaign.
